Looks like it would be a comfortable carry piece, but I wonder how hard it is to be accurate with that curved grip. Also, .380

Thoughts?

I like that they are trying something new. Innovative.

Looks like someone left a Taurus in the sun too long and said "Hey, we can do something with this."

It's a Taurus, so no. Hell no.

Interesting concept. But that's all I've got at the moment. I wonder how reliable a curved magazine would be.

Magazine is straight. If you look at the picture, the magazine starts on the far right side.

Strange creation - no iron sights, belt clip so "no holster needed"

I'm pretty open-minded, but that looks dumb.

What's wrong with the .380?

Does shaving the top of the barrel like that effect trajectory? Is the magazine still straight? I'd like to shoot one just to see how it feels.

I dont know why Taurus gets such a bad rap. Their new stuff that ive shot has been very quality stuff.

Like the above poster said I love the fact they are at least trying something new.

So. Given your username. How do like your 24-7? How many rounds thru it? Was thinking about one.

To the OP, Can never hurt to handle one at the store...see how it feels.

I think they are thinking outside of the box which is cool to see.

Sideview:

Here are some issues I can foresee:

1. The DOA hammer-fired mechanism will probably be quite heavy and stagy. The shape of the trigger and the direction of travel also looks whacky.

2. I HATE the idea of a company advocating that people clip this to their belt lines WITHOUT using a holster that covers the trigger. That is dangerous and very irresponsible. I like that they are encouraging CC but suggesting Mexican carry is idiotic.

3. There are zero sights. Not even the little notches the LCP has.

4. I imagine the 2 LED "light" will not have good brightness. Then again, this is just an educated guess.

5. I wonder how well a Taurus-quality laser will be at maintaining zero. Then again, this is also an educated guess.

6. The cutout of the magazine is surely going to pinch the shite out of some palms. I can almost guarantee it just by looking at it.

A full Bapple test would be necessary for me to go further.

I'd be interested in your review but I have ZERO desire to even shoot that thing

I had the (unfortunate) opportunity to shoot a Taurus Slim in .40. It took me five minutes of figuring out how hard and far to pull the trigger to make the gun fire. That was honestly the worst cc pistol I have fired. Recoil was worse than any handgun I have fired. Also the slide went out of battery on 3 of the 7 shots fired.
