Key game for WB tonight, vs La Tech coached by Pat Summit's son

Lady tigers off to what I can only say is a terrible 2-4 start with our 3rd loss to Tulane in 4 years (31-3 vs them before this!), a win over Jackson st in OT, getting routed at home by Ark..Little rock and having our best player suspended (again) for likley a failed durg test.
Tonight we play an old power who has been pretty terrible the past 6 years and has fallen off of map in WCB. LT lost to ULL for first time in school history a few weeks ago and is 2-2.
Lady Tigers had their last two games canceled at tounament last week (anyone know what the Hell happened) and not sure what else can go wrong.
A win tonight is IMHO a must and could get us some momentum and keep us above .500 going into SEC play. A loss and I do not think we will be above .500 again this year and a very real chance we finish 11th or lower in SEC!!!
I'm not calling NC a bad hire at this point, but if we lose to LT ang go 5-11, 4-12 in SEC I think the verdict will be in...hope Im wrong, but this team a mess and so is the program.
Yes sweet 16 last year...at home..after going 7-9 in SEC, the home NCAA days are over..time to win..in conf. We have lost 9 in a row to top 25 teams and if we cant beat the LT's of the world we are irrelevant.

LSU's RPI is 195, La Tech 182, should be a close game..
sainstfan, lsualum? if we go 5-11 in SEC is that enough for you both to admit NC needs to go?
If not why...4 years, no incoming talent next year and plenty of coaches we could get for $700k (which Im glad to pay for a winner)..really, this is just a train wreck....sure our RPI will get better in SEC play but if we end out of top 100 she has to go..this year!

No. You're still under the incorrect impression that she's been on the hotseat her entire LSU tenure. This would be her first failing year and any rational person would give her a chance to right the ship.

NC was a good hire at the time, based on what she accomplished at UCLA. It seemed the sky was the limit when she came to LSU.
I had no problem with the money she got.
But four years later, it's time to look at things again. These results are totally unacceptable for a coach making NC's money.
She has had plenty of time. It's time for results commensurate with her salary.

Dude, you post the same exact stuff every single game the ladies play. Can we at least let the season play out first? You know my position on Nikki Caldwell at this point. It doesn't need to be re-hashed again.

I have been a Caldwell supporter, but this is her fourth year and its her players. Things do not look much better next year. Only one decent player signed. The results we are seeing right now are completely unacceptable. Losing to Santa Clara, shite, if the other games were played we might have lost... The state of the program is a mess. She has done a good job of motivating players and getting the most out her team. The issue right now is we do not have players. We are looking into next year with not much to look forward to as well. What concerns me right now is we will soon be hitting conference play defeated mentally, losing to all these teams.

They have zero players who can shoot, half their shots were completely wide open and they still cannot make anything. He will have to bring in some better players.

Great to see LT this way, they are old news and will never be back! Also hope this is sign of things to come, still have doubts about lady tigers but 37-11 even against a weak team is good stuff...

That's the problem. The OP went out of his way to set the table against the coach. Sweet 16 last year was OK, being at home and all, but if she loses to LaTech...
