Course work took me 10 regular semesters, plus at least 1 summer school and 1 intersession. Calendar time took me 8 years - military and such, as well as a major change.

8 full time semesters, 3 co-op semesters. 4.5 years

5 years, but I did internships and worked throughout college, and it looks a hell of a lot better on a resume than just graduating in 4 just to do it.

7 semesters due to lots of college credit gained in high school

How many years did it take for you to get your degree?
5 Springs, 5 Falls, and one Summer. If I hadn't change my major from physics to music, then from music to math, then from math back to physics again - I probably still would not have finished in 4 years. And that's with enough advanced placement to skip all required history classes, freshman english, calculus I, and Latin I and II.
BTW - passing out of Latin I and II and then waiting until my 5th spring semester to take Latin III - not a good idea.

Did you consider asking the college if you might take the classes an independent study with a professor willing to do it?
I faced the same situation with undergraduate Astrophysics II. I had taken the I, didn't realize that I had had to take the II the next semester or wait two more years. I found a professor who taught me and another student in a similar situation the course as independent study. We learned a whole lot more than we would have actually taking the class!

The Latin III teacher I got was no pushover easy grader, either. It was the hardest earned "C" I had ever gotten in my life, all 5 fricken credit hours of it.

5 years, because I'm lazy and had no idea what I wanted my degree in for the first 3 years

6 years from the start of first enrolling, worked full time for 1.5 years not taking classes in the middle before finishing.

5 years but I earned two degrees during that span.
