I've lost hope that Brandon Harris will be our starting QB next year.

I keep seeing threads and post on tRant stating Brandon Harris is our future. Where is the evidence for this assumption/assertion?

Look, I see the talent disparity. It's clear as day IMO. I believe that observation is inline with tRant consensus. However, I don't see a smidgen of evidence pointing to Miles committing to BH as next year's starting QB.

Please give me hope tRant.

I'm not sure what the real issue is with Harris, but it certainly is frustrating

Looking to tRant for answers is probably not a great idea.

How can a school like OSU have Barrett step in and contribute immediately (irrespective of the opposition they have played) and yet we get a top notch QB and he cant even contribute (or get a chance to contribute). Shall we call it lack of coaching?

You seem sad. You seem hopeless. It's December 2, 2014. The 2015 season starts on September 5, 2015. Be a hopeless sad boy then if Harris isn't starting.

If Jennings wins the bowl game, he's a lock.

Bet on it.

The starter has been chosen. It's never based on level of play at LSU.

Wasn't when Jefferswag was on campus. It wasn't when Flynn was on campus in 2007, to be quite honest (flame away).

Wasn't when your boy Hatch started on the road vs. Florida.

It isn't now.

Folks who try to argue different are ignoring history.

Dafrick does this even mean? You think Flynn should have been starting over Russell? OR do you think Perrilloux should have been playing over Flynn?

When was this?

Sweet mercy. Do you train year-round to be this dumb?

So are a lot of other starters.

IMO the "freshman" excuse is no longer relevant after the 6th or 7th game of the year.

There is no hope.

let me tell you how this will play out over the next 8-9 months.

Late Winter: Less Miles will say both QBs are progressing nicely, and that the competition is wide open.

Spring Game: AJ will play with the #1 offense and will look significantly worse than BH playing with the 2s. Miles will say that both played extremely well and have a want to compete.

Summer: BH will be invited to QB camps and reports will be that he is lighting it up. AJ will be invited to a camp, no reports will be made by independent sources. However, Miels will say that he too is lighting it up.

Camp: Miles will continue to say the QB competition is open and that both are fighting hard as good team members with a lot of passion.

First Game: AJ will start and play the entire game, except for maybe some garbage time. MAYBE. Miles will say the opportunity didnt present itself to get BH in the game.

Rest of Season: AJ will continue to start. The reason floated will be that AJ has a whole year of experience as a starter in the SEC and thus puts LSU in a better chance to win.

ummm...i'm gonna go out on a limb and say Braxton Miller getting injured played a small part in Barrett getting the opportunity to contribute
