So Lee was better? They were both crap.
Lee's senior year outside of two passes begs to differ.

the QB position is way different...please list freshman qb's in the sec that have been successful
Can you list the Sophomore QB's that have been worse than ours?
Other than Omarr Conner of course.

hey buddy....did you enjoy the win against A&M? i was looking through your post history to see if there were any congratulatory posts but couldn't find any.
i found that odd considering you're such a huge LSU fan. figured there was a glitch in the matrix or something.

im not saying you're wrong...but what exactly makes it "clear as day"?
1. Arm strength.
2. Faster runner.
3. Better spacial awareness...which allows him to extend plays.

However, I don't see a smidgen of evidence pointing to Miles committing to BH as next year's starting QB.
He started and played poorly in the Auburn game. He clearly has physical tools to be very good.
He's gonna have another offseason with Cameron and Moffit and hopefully will work hard to perfect his craft.
Ultimately we might look back at this year and say it sharpened Harris and motivated him to become a championship QB.

Seeing our offense do things different probably exploded his brain.

There is no hope.
let me tell you how this will play out over the next 8-9 months.
Late Winter: Less Miles will say both QBs are progressing nicely, and that the competition is wide open.
Spring Game: AJ will play with the #1 offense and will look significantly worse than BH playing with the 2s. Miles will say that both played extremely well and have a want to compete.
Summer: BH will be invited to QB camps and reports will be that he is lighting it up. AJ will be invited to a camp, no reports will be made by independent sources. However, Miels will say that he too is lighting it up.
Camp: Miles will continue to say the QB competition is open and that both are fighting hard as good team members with a lot of passion.
First Game: AJ will start and play the entire game, except for maybe some garbage time. MAYBE. Miles will say the opportunity didnt present itself to get BH in the game.
Rest of Season: AJ will continue to start. The reason floated will be that AJ has a whole year of experience as a starter in the SEC and thus puts LSU in a better chance to win.
Stay on topic.

Dafrick does this even mean? You think Flynn should have been starting over Russell? OR do you think Perrilloux should have been playing over Flynn?

Do you really not remember whether or not Russell was on campus in 2007 for the 2007 season?
Sigh...

I keep seeing threads and post on tRant stating Brandon Harris is our future. Where is the evidence for this assumption/assertion?
so where is the evidence that Harris will NOT be our starting QB next year?
this isn't a court of law. les miles is LSU's HC and he and his staff will determine which QB starts and they are not going to go to the press and fanbase and name a starter. miles lack of open communication with the fans is frustrating but he has played it close to the vest for TEN STRAIGHT YEARS. you'd think one would know this by now.

Too scared to respond to things you can't respond to. As usual.
Apparently you're the only person allowed to stray from topics. (you haven't done it in this thread, before you throw that lame argument out)

first 2...yes. 3rd...ehhh.
but i'd say accuracy and ability to read defenses are ahead of all those....and neither have shown to be talented in those areas thus far

Let me spell it out for you. Barrett is actually performing at a decent if not high level and winning games for his team, thinks he is a freshman too, maybe not. What has our high rated freshman or any other senior QB done?
quote:
ummm...i'm gonna go out on a limb and say Braxton Miller getting injured played a small part in Barrett getting the opportunity to contribute

what does that have to do with Brandon Harris? nice deflection..

Where did I say that?
I'm asking what your issue is with Flynn playing was.

Miles would rather win games than take lumps with a true freshman.
Honestly, could you imagine our fanbase if we had 6 or 7 losses? I don't know if that'd be any better.

Agree to disagree. We are comparing one crap turd to another and seeing which one stinks worse. Lee passed better and Jefferson ran better. They were both crap QBs is my point and no real difference in level of play on the field which is what the poster I replied to was getting at.
