Rob Ryan is fricking gone next year. Terrible late game schemes. Stupid and weak plays by his players. White and Vaccaro with inexcusable personal fouls. If the steelers keep all three timeouts we lose that game somehow

I know that the Saints was playing weak prevent defense just keeping the plays in front of them and letting Pittsburgh use up the clock.

But closing out games in the 4th quarter has been a huge problem this year for the Saints. Why not use this game to practice closing out games?

Because it doesn't matter.

Game was out of reach - the plan was to allow dump offs to Bell in the middle of the field to waste clock since they didn't have timeouts.
