I've seen what I need to see. This team won't cut it.

Terrible depth. Gordon hurt. Inconsistent shooters. Ball hogs. Poorly constructed roster.

Dell will be gone. Monty will be gone.

Ryno and Tyreke will likely be traded along with most of the rest of the team.

Yes, I know many will see this is just based on tonight's loss but it's not. This is just a very mediocre team with pieces that don't fit.

Ryno and tyreke need to be packaged in a trade. Throw in rivers as well

Keep anderson. He is the only viable bench player we have. If not one of the best in the league. Throw away fricking babbitt, salmons, tyreke and gordon and get a stud

why on earth would anyone want to trade a great stretch four who opens up the offense?

Because we have too much invested in too few (players and positions).

Anderson could pribably net us a competent SF to start. Tyreke needs to be turned into bench depth.

Ryan is kind of a luxury at this point. I love Ryno but we have some needs to fill

He sadly is our only trade chip sans AD and Jrue. We already know we can't trade Gordon, and I can't imagine anyone trading for Reke without us taking back a bad contract.

I pray to Jah that this past 3 games are just a hiccup and we continue the promising start we had. Either way, #FireMonty.

I'm not ready to hit the panic button yet. I'll wait a couple more games and see if they can't figure this out. seems like everyone is pressing right now to fill the void.

I'd hate to see him go, but yeah. If we can swing some deals and keep him, great. But if we can package him with others and improve the roster overall, then I'd do it.

Honestly, I would try to trade Asik. To me, he does nothing but eat up space. I would take Robin Lopez over him any day.

He's super slow, has a terrible shooting touch 3 ft and beyond from the basket, cant post up....and really doesnt play good defense besides blocked shots on guards.

I never knew what everyone saw in him besides the obvious Center characteristics of blocked shots and defensive rebounds.

Because he's your only truly valuable piece? A team with RA as its second best player isn't going to accomplish anything anyway.

We were the best rebounding team in the NBA before his injury and he made cousins have an inefficient game when he clearly wasn't 100%.

Cousins only really scored when asik was on the fine and was 4-11 with him in.

quote:

More stats. Cousins was 4-11 with Asik defending him. In two games he is 3-6 against Davis, 5-11 against Anderson, and 6-10 against everyone else.

Cousins average shot distance against Omer was 16.07 feet, only attempting TWO shots closer than 6 feet to the basket. The next closest shot was from 13.4 feet away. 9 other shots were all jumpers. Against EVERYONE else, Cousins average shot distance as 6.5 feet.

quote:

Just look at their stats this year. Even the complaint of stone hands Asik he has a near 50% LOWER TO rate than Rolo. He has double the FT rate, their TS % is within 2% of each other, and Asik has a 33% higher total rebounding %. The grass is always greener until you actually look at the numbers.

And Asik is the problem...

He's not really been our second best player to be fair.

I mean in terms of pieces to build around for the future. The Pellies would be better off shedding some salary and bringing in some high upside guys. Anderson is a great piece for a team that's already pretty good. I would love him on the Rockets. Too late for that though.

Everyone on here would be ecstatic if we could trade Ryno for a 3&D SF.

Jeff Green needs to be in a pelicans jersey
