Not an Apple nut, but came down to dealing with annoying Windows 8 or the Mac OS so I bought a Macbook Pro with the Retina display.

It has flash storage, so I plan on storing all docs on an external drive and have a backup for that.

I bought a case for it and a keyboard cover already, as well.

Question is, are there other must-have accesories for a MacBook?

Congrats on the purchase...I'm sure you will love your new MBP. I just returned my MB Air and got one that had more memory, more flash storage, and a faster processor. I can't wait till it arrives!! As far as must-have accessories, I'm not sure if there are any. I bought 3 TB airport time capsule but it is definitely not a must have. I was in the market for both an external hard drive and a new router so it serves both needs.

I recently got a MacBook Air and installed Parallels which let's me run Windows 8.1. This gives me a great form factor Apple Os for play and Windows for work.

I'm not stupid and switched from Windows to OS X several years ago and my computing life has been a dream ever since. It limits me on gaming of course but I don't have a lot of time to game and it runs my favorite game just fine.

I am so sorry for having a life changingly positive experience with an OS that you do not sanction. I would have stayed with Windows had it not been a nightmare.

Off you go.

That wall of text literally has nothing to do with what I said.

You have trouble reading, bro?

Why did you edit?

It's not my fault if the impression your post makes is not the intent of your post.

ETA: a paragraph and a half is not really a wall of text.
