I think it is fake.

**This video is a training video of a deputy faced with a scenario and how he reacts under tremendous stress along with his K9 partner.
***The stress you felt while watching this, is the stress that our handlers, trainees, and K9's feel as they enter our world of training. Training as real as possible. The Handler is thrown into a suspected narcotics smuggling traffic stop with only one person (driver) observable. The K9 is faced with target acquisition, gunfire, deployment from the vehicle, and an all out fight with the decoy. Real Life Training to survive on the streets. The K9 does not know the difference. Train to survive!!!

Gotta be a training vid. The 2nd suspect with a shotgun to spray with, isn't gonna get point blank into a pistol's accuracy range, when with the cover of truck rear corner and ditch to help armor, distance, and conceal him, he has his shot without emerging into such greater focus and range. Plus, the 2nd suspect that absorbs the dog attack never fully raises the gun barrel, and appears awfully padded up/clothed.

Badass! Props to the cops. Do you really need a gun when you have a dog like that?

ETA: Saw that it's fake. Bummer.

Cop has a button on his duty belt to press to open the door for the dog. And the dog is trained once that door opens it's go time

Police and military dogs are amazing.

It says training video. Does that mean it was fake or that it is real and is used to train other officers? I've seen lots of police videos that say training on them that look pretty damn real.

If by fake, you mean a promotional video.. Yeah. It's a promotional video for the dog training company.
