If the playoff included 8 teams instead of 4, would it make sense to ditch the conference championship game?

Will be interesting to see how the SEC stacks up in the Bowls this year. I hope we win every game.
Re Bama...easy to want to wish them bad...but it's hard to hate excellence. Saban is a machine. I'd vote for him as POTUS; not that he'd put up with the crap up there for one day.

his excellence is in recruiting, which he is very shady at. He is a recruiting machine. He is just another coach in other areas.

Bama wins SEC west and loses SEC champ. Therefore, bama gets bounced from playoff. MSU wins and makes playoff bc they don't have an extra game. Bama gets fricked. I laugh. MSU wins NC.
