All the credit is going towards A&Ms defense. Even though our offense was opened up and we got stuffed a bit and Jennings actually made plays (running, big Throw to Malachi). It's like you people can't be satisfied. Now yes, we should have blew them the frick put but that's football. Can't wait for the bowl game

Also Grimes is an uprising putting in work. O-Line should be smoothed out by next year.

There it is.

We obviously opened up our running game and continued to do what worked aside from HB ISO up the middle the whole game. Stay salty.

Because there is nothing the LSU fanbase does better than bitch, gripe, and cry.
They are content in their personal misery and anxious to spread it.
They actually believe that they know more than the coaching staff in spite of the fact that most of them have never actually strapped on a helmet and played.

We add ONE play to the offensive game plan and now we're opening it up.

I've seen several posts giving credit, scroll around a bit.
I'll say they ran the read option much more than any other time this year. A no-brainer given our limitations at QB passing, but better late than never.

And they ran less follow the fullback and even ran some misdirectoion stuff with Dural.

Yes, Aggie defense is worst in the SEC, still some IMHO good adjustments by the staff.

OP- you think if we would have deployed the A&M offense early in the season we would have beat

Auburn?
Alabama?
Moo State?
Arkansas?

Gotta convince Vadal & Hawkins to stay.

No. People with a brain stem know that what we ran against TAMU wouldn't have done shite against a good defense and the evidence of that has been there all season. Offense looked unstoppable against Sam Houston St if you remember. Oh, and we moved the ball against ULM. A shite offense looks like a mediocre offense against a shite defense. Any team with a pulse and we barely manage to score points or like in the arky game none at all.

You can keep pumping your sunshine if you want, but until there is a head coach at LSU that isn't scared of running an offense post 1975 (with the exception of the read option look they showed last night), thats what you're going to get.

TAMU D gives up an average of 29.5ppg. We scored 20, which is the lowest ppg they have given up vs SECW opponents (us and Ole Miss).

I give the coaching staff credit for running the read option more and we ran the jet sweep a few times which is nice. And we had a lot of yards. But we still scored just 20points vs a team that gives up 29.5ppg and is ranked 90th in defensive ppg in the nation.

And yea Jennings made a good pass to Dupre. But the 1 thing he does pretty good is throw a nice deep touch pass.

And it's not like we did anything different than we have all year long. Run the ball, play sound D. We've done that all season long.

And why will our OL be smoothed out next year? We will be having at least 3 new starters and losing our top 2 OLman most likely.

All good points but wait and the pumpers will tell you how wrong you are and that Miles is the savior of football.

You realize that A&M's defense has given up yards on the ground in nearly every SEC game this season.

Arkansas - 285
MSU - 280
Ole Miss - 160
Alabama - 298
Auburn - 363
Mizzou - 335
LSU - 384

So in their last 7 SEC games, they've given up less than 280 yards rushing ONCE and gave up 335+ rushing yards in their last 3 games. Think about that.

LSU's offense looked great in large part becuase A&M's defense has proven to still be horrible all season and especially down the tail end. Think about the Auburn game, they were up big on Auburn, and they still had nearly 400 yards rushing.

dude I'm giving all the credit to the coaching staff. Kudo's to Miles and Cam for being willing to change this late in the season. I didn't know Cam had it in him. Before this game I was fully on board with 'the fire Cam Cameroon' band wagon. NOw he has made me a believer (if he can continue with this kind of creativity and game planning in the bowl game). I feel we have truely turned a corner and the future suddenly looks brighter for LSU football. Our offense really did look like a current 'pro style' offense last night for the first time in many years.

I give them all the credit. I mean after 4 losses, it's all about moral victories.
