Just had 2 medium does and 2 yearlings come out directly under my stand. The biggest may have been 85 lbs. I'll let her walk tonight but if that's all I see by tomorrow gonna lay the biggest one down.

My uncle killed this one with some broken off points this morning near Oil City. I don't have the whole story yet, but he looks like an old deer to me.

Shot what I thought was a decent size doe looking at it 75 yards down a timber ridge in the bottom. Ended up being a button buck and I'm sick about it.

It happens. I almost smoked this spike earlier cause I'm eager to lay something down.

No worries about a button buck. It happens.

Yeah it happens.. I've always been told if a "doe" comes out solo, good chance it's a button.
I've been spoiled though and typically see a good number of deer each hunt.. Can normally find that big nanny in the group

My buddy blasted this on our low fenced property

Little Dong 1 got his first buck this evening in Wilson. The smile says it all.
Little Dong 2 missed a brute because I/we rushed the shot for fear the deer was about to bolt. He's handling better than I am.

Nothing better than the smile on that boys face. My son is about to be 2 and I can't wait to have him out there with me. Congratulations

Congrats to you and LD1. Priceless. Can't wait to experience that with my midgets.

The single doe has ruined a many a hunt. Never shot a "doe" that is alone. It's 99% a button buck.
