Not sure if serious?

JA has that intangible IT factor to go along with his physical talents. Love the kid

While I do think he's just as talented/valuable, I don't really like this comparison. What amazed me about the honey badger were his ball hawking skills and his tackling strength despite his size and weight room stats. What amazes me about Jamal is his versatility as a defender and his knack for being involved in every play. I see more Eric reid in him tbh, but with an even higher ceiling

Agree.

I wasn't serious

Thought I'd get some better reactions, though. I should have waited until tonight when all the college kids are awake.

He and Beckwith COMPLETELY turned around what looked like it was going to be the worst LSU defense in 15 years.

If LSU can keep Hunter and Alexander, this group has the potential to be one of the best defenses in 15 years

I thought the hype surrounding him when he signed with LSU was overblown.

Why? If you looked at his tape, he was extremely good in coverage and made plays in the box. Was also an excellent return many and I believe play a few positions on offense as well.

Prepare to be amazed by CB Toliver as well though. Kid is just like this. LSU is loaded for years to come.

I don't want to take anything away from JA - but Thomas looked to be one of our better players before getting hurt - Adams may have played better, but that position wasn't the problem when Adams wasn't playing.

That's all I'm saying (and I defended Welter to a certain point that the criticism was over the top.)

I agree. I've said side about week three, that JA will be the first Tiger selected in the 2017 draft. He's a stud and all his tangible skills translate well to the NFL. And all his great intangibles are welcomed lagniappe.
