You ought to check with your optometrist about this.

Warm compress. Antibiotic drops/ointment do no good, and an opthalmologist usually won't touch it until it's been there 3-4 weeks without resolution.

Wash with baby shampoo, hot compresses. As hot as you can handle.
I never had much luck with the store ointments.
I had two cut out when I was younger, used to get them all the time.

I had them several times when I was between 15 and 18. I didn't do anything to treat them. I let them run their course. Had a few female friends that liked to pop them when they got a head on them.

I had 1 a few months ago, and the nurse suggested that I pick up a potato with the end about the size of your eye socket. Put it in the microwave for a minute or 2, then wrap it in a towel and use that as a warm compress. The potato keeps the heat in better than just a warm towel

Warm compresses. You should also wash your eyelids with baby shampoo if it's available.

No. But like an Optometrist, I'm not a Doctor of Medicine.

Well, if it's good enough for them, it's good enough for the OT!

Hot towel on that shite did the trick for me. Had back to back stye infections on the same eyelid. Took a while to go away. I remember using some ointment after putting the hot towel on it to drain the stye, but I don't remember the name of the ointment.

I used to get these all the time and this stuff actually makes you not look like Quasimodo. Highly highly recommend it. You can get it any Walgreens, etc.
