I remember many a Thanksgiving pigging out early afternoon, then hooking up the old 15' Duracraft and heading down to Montegut, then later it was Yellow Cotton Bay. Man did we slaughter some specs. My boys seem to prefer the woods over the marsh, so here we are. My Dad finally said no to climbing in the boat with me-he's only 88, not sure why.

We had 15 canadian geese on the pond when we got ther at dark, but wasnt sure on the season here in mississippi as we have never had geese so we left them alone

Cool and windy
Sitting w/ Mrs pickle. She has been seeing some deer she is not sure are shooters or not. Got some mid morning pictures so we will be sitting until 11/12ish

Nice buck Jake.
Went for a walk about. Shot one big arse pig. Good blood trail for about 50 yards and then it stopped.
Not about to put my dogs on that.
On the way out, I saw a real nice buck walking across the pipeline about 400 yards. Walk to the area I saw him cross and walked into the woods about 30 yards. Before I knew it, he jumped up and was gone not 20 yards from me.
