Link?

They would be losing about $600 on every one of those they sold. There is no way.

The really good deals are. I bought a Samsung LED Smart TV last year the day after BF for a decent price but no way was it a $199 PoS.

I would never buy one of those. Might as well flush money down the toilet because it will crap out as soon as the warranty is up probably.

Damn that sucks. I was hoping this TV would be suitable for my little office room at home that would only be used for netflix and ps4

You get what you pay for as far as BF deals. The TV isn't anything to wrote home to mom about, but it is a TV. It will work for your intended purpose.

It's been proven that the REALLY good TV deals on BF are TVs that places like Best Buy order just to use as door buster deals. They are built more cheaply than others using recycled and cheaper parts.

Oooo I never knew that. Thanks for the heads up. Are there any deals worth checking out, or should I just wait and buy one at regular price?

Should I start a thread on the Tech board?

There are still deals on legit TVs now and around Super Bowl time. It's just the deals that are too good to be true to stay away from.

Like I said, I bought a 50" Samsung LED smart TV last year for $799 which was about $300 cheaper than normal.

50" TV for $200 is something I may grab.

We don't watch 24/7 TV and I game on my pc monitors. I'm sure that TV would work for whatever I decide to use it for

I see. I see. Thanks for the insight. I think I'll start a thread on the Tech board. I want good TV for when my Xbox One gets in. I'm not really interested in a smart TV. I just want a larger and better quality one than what I have now, which is a 32" Vizio.

Notice how none of those dirt-cheap door-buster TVs are never LGs or Samsungs, the two companies that actually make their own panels and develop new display technology.

That Panasonic is not necessarily a piece of shite, though, in terms of reliability. That same TV has been available for a while. It's a Best Buy-exclusive model that they are probably just clearing out. It's the most basic, stripped down TV you can get these days. 5-year-old technology. 60Hz 1080P LED with 2 HDMI ports and 1 USB. Nothing else.
