I'd win 6 bitch. I stand by the fact that if Miles didn't show up, LSU would have easily won 5 this year. Sorry to disappoint you.......

how are you disappointing anyone? You made a dumbass statement about coaching. If anyone can win at lsu, why isnt lsu the best program ever?

Obviously there is no one. NO ONE! So...when Miles retires in 10 years LSU will never ever have another mediocre coach. EVER! So there.

2. If it actually happened, I personally would want David SHaw. He runs the offense that Miles wants....although thats just my opinion.
Shaw is slowly tearing down what Harbaugh built up to an Elite level. Stanford is definitely on the Decline under Shaw. Not the same program. But yeah, lets hire him to coach LSU.

Some of you Terran's have the same mentality as that Joe Alleva guy.

Pete Carroll, Sean Payton, either one of the Harbaughs. Who wouldn't want to coach at LSU?

Go get JT Curtis or any other good, fundamentally sound HS coach and you would have a more disciplined team and win more.

LSU is still a better job than FSU

FSU just won a national championship. Its in fertile recruiting ground, just like we are. They are constantly in the spotlight.

Is LSU a better job? Right now, no. Before last season, probably.

LSU fans don't deserve a good program

Don't confuse some trolls who post here with real LSU fans. Some guys posting here are just SEC/BCS mentally challenged .

Like Miles or not, but the guy is Top 5 in results since 05.

It's amusing to me how many of the regular Miles bashers were here after Aub. telling us that LSU was not going to win even one SEC game and now the same guys are upset over only winning 4.

Stupid thread, Les Miles is the greatest coach in LSU history, 8 wins or better every year why would you consider another coach? LSU football is in the national spotlight year in and year out for the first time in school history.

(not a response to Lakeboy7, just joining in at the latest post)

If one could research it thoroughly enough I think one could find several coaches who could excel at LSU.

I have a strong want for championships. The shortest, fastest way there from here is for Les to shift paradigms on offense. That's my preference. Les does a lot, a whole lot, well as a HC. But we're not competing for championships. He has all the empirical evidence he could ever want to prove to himself that what he's doing on O does not work across a whole season.

IMO, Les is a victim of the "ten year rule." I would be disappointed but not surprised if he announced soon he was stepping aside. And if he did, all things considered he was a very good hire.

Oh well. My rant. Good win tonight for my team and Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I find it laughable how some of you people believe that Les Miles makes LSU and that there are no good coaches out there that would want to coach at LSU! I guess LSU is just a dumpster fire of a job. You people amaze me. LSU is a top5 job.

I find it laughable how you believe that there are premier HCs everywhere that would jump at the honor of coming to LSU to replace a HC that won over 80% of his games, 2 SECC, a BCSNC (played for another) and over 100 total games in 10 years that was FIRED for not performing! Does that sound like a situation a smart coach would jump at?

And I love LSU but a top 5 job is likely over stating it a tad but if it is it's only because Miles has made it that. No one can honestly say LSU was a top 5 job at any point prior to CLM.

Dirk Koetter

If you can recruit to Boise Idaho, just think what he could do with LSU and all it has to offer.

Lsu was a top 5 job when saban left. It will be when miles leaves. The facilities, athletic budget, fan support, and recruiting ground makes it that way.
