I agree with you, but that isn't what this thread is about. Look at the damn title of the thread. It screams "I should be entitled to this."

I'm a dude.
I don't scream. But, if I bought it, and mistakenly forgot to remove a harmless item before getting on a commercial plane, why can't I have the privilege of having my legal possession returned to me at my expense?

It's a simple question.

The questions you are asking don't take into consideration anything but your needs. You need to stop and think about all that goes into providing services and why TSA isn't a one stop shop for all things "flying." For instance, why don't they also sell luggage?

TSA has no obligation to provide you this service. All their resources are already focused on getting Paw Paw out of his wheelchair and patting down his junk to make sure he isn't hiding any explosives in there.

In all seriousness, there may be a reason why they don't want to hire additional people to spend their time mailing things. It may not be cost effective. Someone posted earlier that they used to do this, so they stopped for a reason.

It can..
Put the item in an envelope and then put your address as the return address and a buddies address as the sending address and put just one stamp on it.
It will go to one or the other postage due.

Lemme ask you this, ever notice like 8 TSA frickers standing around with rubber gloves on doing the "I got nothing to do but swing my arms back and forth whilst snapping my fingers and clap" motion?

Put those assholes on envelope stuffing duty. They're not some delicate genius that be burdened by none other than one task, of staring at a monitor for engraved family heirlooms.

Nazi cocksuckers. Stuff envelops assholes.

I just saw this at MSY , regular line was about a half hour for terminal B and the precheck line had no one so they were all just standing around

Actually no. I don't fly out of small airports. I rarely see TSA agents not doing anything.

if you are leaving from your home airport, pretty much all the airports have a service where they will "hold" your item for you for a fee until you come back and pick it up.

just have to ask.

Security was a breeze. Probably one of my quickest experiences due to high staffing and low crowds at that time.

Sharing a flight with Hunter Newman (LSU pitcher) and his hair is long now... Other than that, no updates.
