The squid steak appetizer is great. It is a whole squid served sliced on a sizzling skillet in a butter soy sauce. So good.
Also, the Salmon Zest roll is solid.

I went to a party in the bar a few weeks ago. They did Hendrick's very very well.

.. If you're a roll person, which I'm not normally, the Salmon Zest roll is pretty good.
I find the place more expensive than most, but I enjoy it anyway

I tried this place out on the urging of a good friend who loves sushi. I just don't see what all the fuss is about, mediocre sushi and overly loud music doesn't do it for me. I did like their salad though.
I want to like it since it is so close to my house, but I will continue to frequent Sushi Yama. They do sushi right.
