Hunted Sat-This morning. Woodville, Ms. Came home today to take care of a few things and headed back tomorrow until Sunday. Anyway, I did not see a deer the entire time. This never happens. I know the wind played a part but there has to be more to it. Have seen lots of signs of hogs. Hogs have always been there, but seem to be a lot more now. Is this the reason for not seeing any deer activity? Anybody else hunt the same area got any feedback?

All of our movement (a few counties to the east of you) was in the very middle of the day. Without the camera, and finding tracks in my morning bootprints at 2:30, I would have thought the same as you. Isolunar actually nailed it for our area.

Same thing here not a deer to be seen. It's hard to compete with woods full of golf ball size white oak acorns

I spent the weekend in Drew county AR. In every previous trip I saw multiple deer and killed at least one. This was the first time not seeing any at all. Felt like old times in Southern Mississippi.

Very helpful hunting and fishing aid. Especially to those who can hunt or fish around it. Us others just to to get lucky or suffer thru it

I went to St.Francisville and hunted 2 stands for 3 hours each. Absolutely nothing. Has never happened to me either.

That's what it was this past weekend. The deer moved, just not when most people think they need to be in the stand...

We have been in the same lease in Melville for 19 years. Over that time we averaged a deer sighting one every 6 hunts. We also had a major hog problem. We also would have about one mature buck on camera each year.

For some reason this year the hogs have relocated. We have one boar on camera that comes through the area once every three days or so. We are seeing multiple deer on every hunt and have 6 mature bucks consistently traveling through our area.

I believe that hogs will indeed decrease deer movement, keep them tense and on edge, and make for a poor deer hunting habitat altogether.

Weekend was pretty bad, hope they get going this w/e, but food is everywhere, like some have stated. I really hate great acorn years....

We hunt SW miss. Put in 25 hrs sit time this month without a single deer sighting. We finally shot does last weekend at 4:45pm and 5:10pm. Only deer we've seen hunting.

Is that app worth the $5? I'm headed up this weekend to try and put the old lady on something, but right now 95 percent of our pics are at night. We have so many acorns on our place you can't walk without stepping on some. I'm hoping the rain will perk the food plots up some and maybe bring something to come to them. I'm tempted to go sit on the ground on a ridge in the hardwoods close to where I bow hunted and saw a good many deer. It's just so hard hunting on the ground when theres so many crunchy leaves everywhere and everything else that goes with that.

I will be back in the world of no deer movement with you all this weekend. However until then will enjoy my farm in IL. Looked at two fields this am and this pm with my boys too young to hunt and saw combined about 75 deer. A few nice bucks. Amazing what being in a different location will do
