Our playoffs begin this week and ends after week 15 with 2 games remaining in the NFL season. There are 3 teams with records of 5-7, so wouldn't it make more sense to extend the regular season at least 1 more week to break up these ties? I know that's what a tie-break is for, but is it not kind of strange that our fantasy season ends 2 weeks before the NFL regular season does?

This week as well. Championship is week 15.

No, not at all IMO.

It won't matter this year, but I would never want a Fantasy Championship rest on whether or not an NFL team rests it's starters for the playoffs.

Yes but conversely I have seen leagues have championship week 17 and that blows.

Yeah, I guess I didn't account for teams resting their starters for playoffs, but that's just another element to the game imo.

I won a league like this and then we changed it.

I remember starting Joe McKnight andddd some other backup that was getting the start that week.

Won too

It's about the same opinion on whether PPR is better than standard. I feel you need to be more prepared for that week. Some of the highest scoring weeks are in week 17

It shouldn't be. Many of the best fantasy players are going to be on some of the best teams. It is punishing teams for making good decisions to have a good team all year only to have the best players possible taken away when it matters most. It makes things a lot more flukey to end things in week 17.
