With no central police to handle this civil unrest...

...but then I remembered the source of the unrest was an act of the central police.

And rioters would have no roads to block.

Are you suggesting Libertarians don't think there should be a police force?

Libertarians' opinions on what Government's role should be in everything from police presence to modes of public transportation varies from Libertarian to Libertarian. The unhealthy group-think label you want to apply to those of reasonable persuasions comes across as desperate, and will be treated as such. Have a downvote.

Free market forces would determine whether rioting was a worthwhile activity or not.

Are you talking about Libertarianism, or Nihilism?

Just a guess but in a true Libertarian scenario, without local law enforcement there, every business owner or someone that has a physical or monetary investment in Ferguson would be a gun bearing citizen and would shoot if their person, property or business were threatened.

Definitely not Nihilism. Nihilism's complex moral code indirectly calls for laws and state to reflect an "evolving" human nature that rejects religion as a whole, and ultimately devalues human life to the point that the individual is treated as property of the collective. It's very bleak and goes hand-in-hand with authoritarian rule.

Oh, I'm sure if they have Korean owned stores, that's what they are doing. Those dudes were packing some serious heat and setting up shop on the roofs of their stores during the LA riots, when the cops decided that they were not going to respond.
