I look away and shake my head when they show their racism, I don't give them a soapbox or elect them to office.

Discrimination runs in all races, The cop did his job,in which, he was trained! If this had be a white boy, Eric holder, wouldn't of been called in , talk about (discrimination)! A life was lost and it was a loss, cops are trained to protect their own asses on tax payers bucks! To young to die, we fail to privide a better system to all American people! God Bless anyone who has to endure the court system! We can make better, smarter plans for Americans if people wanted justice for all!

I am sure most all of these WWII grandpas and uncles were good people who sacrificed, spilled their blood, and watched their friends die in battle to give you a platform to come here and spew a bunch of garbage. You don't have a clue of the hearts of any one of these brave men and you should be ashamed to make such an unfounded baseless statement about heroes who are no longer with us to defend themselves against your drivel.

Kindly explain how the CBC's assertion that the GJ decision was "a miscarriage of justice" is correct.

I'll hang up and listen.

Most murders of black men go unsolved because witnesses are reluctant to step forward for fear for their own lives.

It is about that time for the Advocate to publish a list of the murders in the area for the year and if you get a chance to read it, please notice that for the vast majority of black murder victoms, the crime goes unsolved.

Who exactly is is to blame for this? Is it the justice system, or is it the lack of cooperation of potential witnesses with the crime investigators? If it is the latter, then who exactly does not value the lives of blacks?

John Lewis

The link in the OP attributes the statement to Marcia Fudge speaking on behalf of the CBC. Its not clear if the statement was reviewed and signed onto by the full caucus.

There is a great deal to admire in the life of John Lewis. The courage and principle and wisdom of young John Lewis would be welcomed by many innocents in Missouri tonight. I'm curious as to any individual statements he might make. I hope he repudiates the cynical fanning of the flames.

Is that what you call what is going on in MO tonight "Black people sticking up for each other"
You are a fricking baffoon and one of the biggest racist on this board. But I quess you get a pass also because your sticking up for black folks.
And John Lewis is an ignorant a-hole and a race baiter, not somthing to be admired.

Interesting quote. Since there are obviously millions of cases where the police gun down unarmed black youts, why didn't the CBC pick one of those? Were they not looking hard enough? Were they too damn lazy to do a little research and find one of those numerous cases where a black kid is gunned down on the way home from Wed night choir practice by a cop that gets off scott-free?

Could it be that the MB case was the best they could come up with?

I swear to god this is shite reminiscent of colonial times. Blacks that speak out for justice are constantly discredited. Even the good souls like John Lewis.
I hope you were drunk.

This is a frightening narrative for every parent and guardian of Black and brown children, and another setback for race relations in America.

...and this bunch of ignorant fricks are in positions of power......if the good people in the black community(of which there are MANY) don't start holding their leaders to higher standards, their race is doomed to be slaves for generations to come.

This is a great opportunity for Obama.

If he would only slap this down publicly on national TV, he could come out looking really great with the general public.
