If the LHSAA actually had a hand in determining who gets in, I think they'd prefer a Jesuit/BM game. Can't imagine what kind of crowd that would draw...

Rummel v Curtis would draw more and thats a fact

I think they dont care who gets in at this point. All 3 Catholic League teams will probably draw around the same amount and Curtis always brings a solid crowd

There is no way Curtis vs. Rummel would draw anywhere NEAR as big a crowd as Brother Martin vs. Jesuit.

Period.

It's not just the school's crowds that would come, but also a lot of neutral spectators.

That potential dream match has been brewing for quite some time.

if it was 2012 with both teams nationally ranked, maybe, but in 2014 with Curtis struggling, it's not a dream matchup

i do think Rummel's a prohibitive favorite though

But I'd prefer John Curtis vs. Jesuit, only because they've never played before.

We held a joint practice and scrimmage back in 97 at Curtis. Curtis was better than us on that day.

It's funny, I don't remember anyone saying "it's very hard to beat a team twice in a season" when Jesuit played St Aug in round 1....

I think the Raiders made too many mistakes in the first match against the Jays, wont happen this time....

Rummel/Curtis...

Yeah, but it's hard to count a select championship in the LHSAA. Raider Price either way

I think Rummel gets caught congratulating themselves on their successive state championships and national ranking, and drops a close one to Jesuit. Curtis will beat BM by 10.

yeah teams do that all the way to the semi finals.

I think the raiders win.

they would have competed. Hard to say for sure. They beat St Aug in the Semi finals which many thought was the best team in the state.

i think Acadiana won 5A public, and they beat Rummel in the regular season pretty handidly. Though Rummel had some injuries during that time.
