Imagine what CP3's numbers would look like if he was still Elite.

Numbers are gonna be elite for awhile I agree.

Guys I was posing this argument to Matt that CP3 at 29 might be entering the downside of his prime, and is not quite as explosive as he once was.

CP3 always was an underrated athlete. CP3 had elite speed, change of pace, agility etc. when he came into the league. And he always had a much tougher little barrel chest that made him hard to bump off even though he was little. His vert at the combine was higher than westbrook's. It's just his guile and control that made it look like he was playing slower, til he turned on the jets.

When I'm seeing him now, it looks like he s starting to have trouble getting to some of his favorite spots on the floor night in night out. He's obviously still ridiculous. But not that many pgs over 30 under 6' played at that level too much longer.

Y'alls thoughts?

This began in the 2010-11 season. He's just so good at body control and pace that it hardly had a meaningful impact -- just lacking explosiveness.

But when you're that good in pick and roll, and that intelligent in how to play the game and position, it had minimal affect.

yeah i mean he is still more athletic than steve nash was in his prime, and cp3 can "nash" it up for a while
