Would still make more sense than London.

Imagine when that NFC/AFC East London team gets paired up with an NFC/AFC West team. Whats London to Seattle?

Toronto would suck as a Super Bowl city because of the aforementioned travel issues, and on top of that, it's cold in Toronto in February. The festivities during the week would suck and you could potentially have a blizzard

NFL is going to London first.

Very soon.

Canada has it's own pro league.

Actually Canadian football is the second most popular league in Canada (according to Wikipedia anyway). I can't name another major sports league in Canada. NHL, MLB, NBA, all have Canadian based franchises and seemingly popular support from those cities.

Yep, requiring every fan to have a passport and travel to Toronto is a brilliant idea.

lolwut

Most people have passports and Toronto is a huge city and not that far away. NFL teams regularly travel farther than that for games within the US.

Yes, that's exactly what's needed. The players wouldn't become targets at all.

The NFL itself is very pro CFL. They've loaned the CFL money in the past to keep it afloat. Its an ulterior source of players.

Also the Federal Government gets involved when the NFL start looking at Canadian cities. They've threatened to pass bills in the past about it.

Toronto is absolutely awful sports city. They are all about the Leafs and thats about it. The Argonauts have horrible attendance. The CFL is hugely popular in the west mainly Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.

Traditionally they aren't though. I think Toronto would have a better shot getting a second NHL team rather than getting an NFL team
