I continue to wonder what will it take for CLM to wake up and change

Would a last place finish change him?

Nope. He doesn't pay attention to those things, as well as a whole lotta other things apparently.

Probably not - he would just blame the players

A last place finish should put pressure on any coach. If you finish last something has to change or you won't last long.

He has been here 10 yrs. He worked Alleva 2 yrs ago for that contract bc he didn't want to change or feel pressure to perform. If he goes to michigan I will be thrilled but I think he stays at LSU for another 2 or 3 yrs and will be forced out.

Since the SEC West has 4 Teams in the Top 25 and the No.1 Team I do not think it is a tragedy to finish last.

The oddity here is that we were just a QB away from being in the NC hunt...

We were also a MLB away about midseason but it took two losses for the staff to make a critical change.

I would hope we wouldn't need to finish last for Les to see that something isn't really clicking. We shall see.

Miles is making 4 million per with a ridiculous buyout after bending Aleva over. He ain't gonna change and has no reason to. He would have changed things up already. Plus, I'd be scared to death having Aleva pick a new coach. We'd probably end up with a trainee from arena football.

He does that a lot doesn't he? Maybe his being overly critical of the players all the time is the problem.
Ya think?

This is literally the exact opposite of what he would do. People actually rip on him for not being "honest" enough about players' performances. Or is there a new mantra now?

Finishing 7th/8th/9th/10th in SEC out of 14 teams without having any significant major injuries should be enough to make any coach seriously reevaluate the way things are going.

I wondered this about 5 years ago. I am far far beyond wondering. It's not possible.

Yeah because our OL had been a model of consistency all year. Porter, who plays the most vital position was suspended twice and knocked out of the Arky game, Vadal didnt make the trip last week, on defense Robinson cant stay on the field....
