I'm honestly shocked at the amount of people in lsu's fan base with such low football iq
You stole this line from Choctaw.
The only one with any control , Les Miles, has both low football iq and general iq because he keeps running into the B gap against 9 man boxes.

Richt might be the Les miles of the east but he has no trouble recruiting QBs

Any criticism at all of Les Miles is shitting on LSU. Les Miles IS the school now.
Absolutely. They'll shite on players, shite on the fans, but defend Les as if he is the program.

Nah, I knew he would blow up in 2013. Mett is the type of QB Cam can really work with.

I've said that Chavis did an amazing job with the defense.
The defensive turnaround this year has been awesome.

Link to anyone that doesn't want to fire the staff (which is apparently what a "pumper" is, trashing the players?
I think you are confused. Many of the same people that constantly shite on the coaches with every post are also trashing the players.
Where some of you get this stuff from remains a mystery.

Beefence - its curious you avoided the question of when your shift ends and who picks up after you.
It must be tiring to come on here day after day to trot out the same old "if your crtiticize Les, you are criticizing LSU" argument day after day. Les is probably the highest paid state employee in Louisana and the cost to results analysis is not working out in his favor right now. No one would choose to spend their free time arguing so vehemently for Les, unless they were incentivized

Yep
I was critical of the chief earlier this year. He really turned things around

I think every SEC school but Vanderbilt and Florida would have a better passing game than LSU with their second string QBs. It's baffling, and inexcusable.

Wouldn't the same apply to those that come on here and continuously trash the team/coaches on a daily basis?
Again, you can be critical of the coaches (rightfully so this season) without wanting to fire the staff. Why the morons on here can't seperate the two is ridiculous.
Except Roger, he's seemed more level headed and rational than most.

Les knew the chances of Zach Lee going to play MLB were strong, and Les had zero backup plan in case that happened.
Wasn't Lee already on campus and practicing with the team?
I can't really blame this one on Les. No way he could have predicted the Dodgers dishing out a franchise record contract for a draft pick and paying him 5 times more than his slotted spot in the draft.

Dude, there are thousands of them. From Jarrett Lee, Russell Shepard, now Brandon Harris and Anthony Jennings. It's rampant. It proves you aren't reading for football related content, only reading to bash someone to mentions Miles.

So you are saying that the bash at all cost guys on here don't bash the players. Just guys who don't bash coaches? Because that is a totally wrong assessment.

I think it's nepotism tbh.
After going .500 partway through the season, the ravens fired him, offensive production went through the roof, they didn't lose another game and won the super bowl.
and Baltimore had the 29th offense last year and had to can the replacement.
While we had a solid offense.
Its a recruiting issue, but really who have we had a chance at that we have missed on? Dak? Sure but he is made for that specific offense. And who else?
Louisiana has been poor in QBs for a while.

No. Pumpers bash players when it's convenient to defend Miles, as the use of J. Lee, R. Shepard, and now B. Jennings.
Miles haters do this as well, both are two sides of the same coin.
The problem with "pumpers" is you people aren't rational. You put the coach over the program, and are focused on the fans and not the team. You people are obsessed with defending the coach.
The whole college football world is baffled by LSU's lack of QB development overall, since Miles has been here, it's not just LSU fans. I like Miles, I hope he's here for another 10 years and is successful, but he's reached a critical point because of his inability to correct a problem that a program such as LSU should rarely have, and it's become the norm.
In case you're wondering why people seem fixated on this, it's because it is THE talk of the college football world when it comes to LSU. It's the Miles bandwagon pumpers who seem to overlook how serious this problem has become.
Les seems to be a good representative for LSU, he has highly rated recruiting classes (though I wonder if they fit the need in many cases) and always beats his rent a wins. He's not on the hot seat but if he doesn't find some solution to the QB issue next year, he will be.

LSU is not the only major football program that has had problems recruiting QBs. What has Texas done since recruiting Colt McCoy, who was in the same class as Perrilloux? How about Michigan? Has Florida recruited well other than Tebow? Do I have to mention Miami since Ken Dorsey? Recruiting QBs is not as easy as many fans make it out to be.
It is amazing that LSU has been as successful as it has despite its problems at QB. Texas, Florida, Miami and Michigan have not come close to LSU's success without exceptional play at QB.

They've had quite a few defections as well. I think the desire to stick with Driskel really hurt Muschamp.

It is a recruiting issue, but not because of lack of available talent. The problem is Miles' strange fixation with recruiting dual threat QBs to run a pro-style offense.
