There's always some excuse for Miles when he fricks up.
There's always cover for him, always excuses for his frick-ups.
There are significant and important deficiencies in what Miles brings to the table, but, these are always overlooked and excused.
He's perfect for LSU, and, as the Bammers say: he's good for college football.

miles won't run the offense that both QB's should be running: Spread out shotgun formations.
that's both of the QB's backgrounds and what they look at most comfortable with
why do they keep forcing a system on them that they clearly are struggling with?

I think we'll know if he can play at this level and be the guy, or not.
I don't know. Some guys take longer than others.
Look at Blake Sims. you think he would look like SEC material 5 years ago?

I don't know, His first action was in 2012. His stats weren't bad.

kiffin has turned him into one of the best QB's in the SEC

in 2012 he was a third year Sophomore, and he threw 10 passes for 77 yards in blowouts.
His stay weren't anything.
10 passes over 5 games with a combined score of 216-7.

it doesn't hurt that is is a 5th year senior, and has the best offensive line in the country, and the best WR.

I'm really not sure what point you're trying to make. You're original question is impossible to answer

Say what you want... He is still better than Jennings or Harris... Ya see SABAN knows who to put into the position best to WIN... Miles??? Not so much...........

I think the point i am trying to make is that he didn't see the field until he was a 5thyear senior.
couldn't force more than blowout time his 3rd year in the program. He wasn't thrown into the line of fire until he was in his 5th year.
Alabama has been good at recruiting guys consistently so that when it is there time to stop up they aren't Freshmen or Sophomores.
Saban's QB while at Alabama
JPW- Senioe when Saban got there
McElroy-Redshirt Junior when he first started
McCarron- Redshirt Sophomore when he first started
Sims-Reshirt Senior when he first started
None of those guys were elite coming out of high school, just given time to be ready.
I think that is where we have failed. There should have been a junior or Senior in line for this year, and we whiffed on too many recruits.
But i am not willing to buy or sell a guy like Harris on his freshmen year.

my point is has 3-4 more years in college than either of before making a start.

Sims is really a bad example since he didn't play because of effective veterans ahead of him.. Boykin or Gholson may be better examples.

But have they adjusted the scheme to fit his skill set? Has he improved over the course of the year? This is something that can be attributed to coaching and not just his age.

IMO, no. they want the QB's to adapt to their system.
