Why I dislike the Democrat party.

tl/dr, I know.
I've been on this board almost ten years and it seems like we go in circles doing the same thing over and over.
I'm just going to lay out why I don't like Democrats and Liberals in the most pragmatic ways I can manage.
Democrats only seem to care about three kinds of people: People that are on the dole, people that are in a union and people that have a government job of some kind. These people are an anchor on our entire economy. Everyone on the dole, in a union or with a government job are just a net loss for our society.
Democrats destroyed the black family. The destruction of the black family is perhaps the most nefarious event in American history outside of slavery, our treatment of native populations and the Civil War. Democrat policies have willfully isolated our black citizens in duplexes and high rises with the hope that they breed and need. It is deplorable.
Democrats have destroyed our education system via teacher's unions. Countries that couldn't put 3 canoes to sea much less an aircraft carrier beat us in math and science only because our education system is no longer an education system but a means of funneling tax payer money into the obscene goliath that is the unionized public school system. $7500 a year per student is actually $7000 to the school board employees and $500 to the student.
None of your policies work. Your theories are destined to fail. Your core policies punish those that innovate, work hard and succeed and reward those that do none of those things. You insulate your remarkable failures by attaching claims of racism, sexism and other "isms" to anyone that questions them.
Your President is an utter failure and you can't admit it. You actually let him tear like a hungry wolverine through principles that you would have considered sacred only a few short years ago only because supporting an a-hole that is bad at his job seems like a better alternative than admitting you were wrong about him.
Republicans are no dream boat. I am not saying they are. What I will say is that the Democrat Party in 2014 offers nothing but absolute destruction to our way of life.

Scoop, that is not all the reasons I despise them as well but a darn good list nevertheless. The win at all costs i.e. lies and misleading really does it to me.

I'm not real big on political discussions on message boards but are you saying there's no way an honest, hard working white person that makes alot of money(that isn't in a union)that pays his fair share of taxes would vote democrat? I know this is a message board of mostly Louisiana people
and I know the mindset around here but do you guys really believe the only reason people vote D is because they want free shite?

That's not what I took away from Scoop's post.
Scoop's post was about the policies of Dems, the people and groups they focus on, and the trail of disastrous
consequences from those policies.
It had nothing to do w/ who happens to vote for them.

As a lower-case l libertarian, there are a lot of reasons I dislike the Democrats when it comes to ideology and their platform. They generally believe in big government. I do not.
Personally, my biggest reason why I dislike liberals is their intolerance of opinions others have.
Encounter a Christian who doesn't want to make a cake for a gay wedding or take photographs for a gay wedding? Instead of going somewhere else, let's sue them and make a big ruckus instead. (And FWIW, I think government should stay out of marriage, but I support an individual's right to their religion.)
Dislike Obama or Hillary Clinton? You're a racist or a sexist.
Whenever someone "controversial" is booked to give a speech at a college, college liberals do their best to shut it down and get it cancelled.
For a group that bangs the tolerance gavel, liberals sure are intolerant of other opinions.

Diversity to a Democrat/liberal is 15 people of different origin, gender or sexual preference all thinking the same thing. They believe in diversity of all things but thought. They believe and practice "the end always justifies the means".

Most of the people you describe are conservatives. However there are sizable pockets of academia, Hollywood, homosexual, environmentalist, abortion, etc single-issue cliques who gravitate to the DEM party because the DEMs don't care what your principles are as long as you believe in governmental control to address your 'ism.
DEMs are all about wielding absolute political control - they would rather have permanent control of a 3rd world country than to have to compete in the arena of ideas for temporary control of a vibrant superpower.

I'd like to reply in greater detail, but my personal "point if no return moment" for Dems was witnessing a group of staffers openly applaud news of death counts in the House Armed Services Commitee hearing--literally cheering deaths bc it fit the narrative in 2003. It was a short outburst but I'll never forget.
One thing you forgot is trial lawyers--so much goes back to trial lawyers and they are huge contributors. Lilly Ledbetter, etc are just about lowering the standard in order to sue for stupid shite.

Dems believe that the government can solve all problems in the country through more regulation/laws/oversight/policies and this is why they always want higher taxes to fund the machine. Reps understand that there is not a SINGLE successful government program, so why would we want to give them more control and more money!

What I really dislike is the new policy of lying about everything and every issue. To tell a lie on everything Obama says or does is disgusting. That's the policy of Sol Alinsky and the communists that are so anti-American. I was exposed to his book and philosophy in a college course, but the professors then did not agree with it or support it, just presented it. All of the Obama bureaucrats lie in every interview or committee testimony.

There are a lot of reasons that I despise Dems, but the latest example was just the other night - Obama quoting scripture at his own damned convenience as a way to debate Republicans. He didn't say it in a way to back up his argument, it was a "neeneer neener this is what your book thing that you like so much says so now its okay if I do this". I've never wanted to put my fist through a TV screen in all of my life - his party has done nothing less than to wipe their asses with the Bible, but they'll drag it out to use as an insult.
It was even worse hearing the self proclaimed "intellectual" progressives on SiriusXM mocking passages in the Bible the following morning, using it as some sort of joke.
