Pretty much. I'm sure this evening I'll have big boy out in the plot with my rifle locked in when the wasp who I think fell down in my hunting pack will come to and sting my arse right before I'm able to shoot

Talladega Co, AL. It is hot, I won't see any deer, but I am taking my daughter for her first hunt. I am stoked. We probably won't last an hour, but I am hoping she likes it.

Wasps were horrible this morning. I killed about 30 before it was warm enough for them to fly. Afterwards, I couldn't kill them fast enough.

Bwahahah, let's hope not for the sake of your sanity.

Just climbed down for a bite of lunch and to release the demons from my morning coffee.
Heading back to same stand for an afternoon set shortly.

Was planning on heading back to BR tomorrow, but by the looks of the radar, I don't think there will be much hunting going on in the morning.

It's a 4.5 hour drive back home. Just got here yesterday at 230. I'll be pissed if I don't get a shot this afternoon.

Your mutant wasp story reminded me about this...

Thursday early afternoon I got back to my truck from helping my dad with a new setup only to find 14 trillion of the light orange lady bugs (potato bugs???) around my truck. They pissed me off while I was getting dressed and they were gone when I got back to the truck from the evening hunt.

Now Friday morning wet left Carencro for Madison County, 4 hour drive ahead of us. Just after getting on the road we had to clear the truck of about 20 of these assholes that were all over the windows. For the remainder of the trip, every 20 minutes or so, one would appear on the window after crawling up from inside the door panel.

WTF, did these guys sneak in my truck and breed 400 offspring over night?

I'm glad there isn't anyone with me. A wasp just landed on my ear. I spazzed out but did not get stung. Why am I even staying in this box?
