While I agree he should have gone through the process, the reality is it never would have passed. The republicans stand to lose lots of support from their base, because these days the party is backed by millions of ultra-nationalistic neo-cons who want to shoot people crossing the border.

There is no room for intelligent discourse.

Droning would work too. I'm kind of an a-hole though.

If thats his plan, on the surface I don't have a problem with it.

If you have the desire and the power to do it, then I guess so.

There will be no immigration bill passing Congress, therefore the President obviously isn't going to wait for a bill that isn't coming.

Then why can't this piece of shite just ban all oil exploration, weapons, suburbanites voting, etc... ?

Exactly. The reason a bill won't come to him is because The People just purposely elected a block to amnesty, which is ultimately what he wants.

I disagree with 90% of the crap he does and agree with 90% of the crap he says.

If the policy was done exactly as laid out, it would be great, but we can't enforce current law, how do we expect to enforce what he just laid out?How do we determine who has been here for 5 years? How do we know if someone is a relative/family member? Do we have the resources to determine 4+million people's length of time in the country, ancestry, fair amount of taxes and whatever else he said?

I wish he was the man who he presents to the public, and not the man whose policy has shredded this country by segregating us in every way possible to find instances of inequality. He creates the injustice, gives a reasonable speech and then gets to creating radical liberal policy.

I don't believe he can change a law by executive order. He can choose not to enforce a law but not change the law.

Are you familiar with the PP & ACA law ? He's changed that 'little' one 20 times. What leads you to believe this incremental'ism' won't change ?

"With respect to the notion that I can just suspend deportations through executive order, that's just not the case". Barrack Hussein Obama, March 2011.

Apparently, he would have had a problem w/ himself just a few years back.

The problem isn't the plan, the problem is he's a fricking liar.

Lol Pay back taxes!!

Or what? He puts this in there for people like you to say it sounds reasonable, however he never describes how he is going to enforce it because he can't. It's a joke it's smoke and mirrors.

Except for that oath he took to uphold the Constitution thingy. This MF'er should be neutered by Congress for the next 2 years.

Oh and here's the poor hard-working people that Obama wants to "come out of the shadows":
