Why do you continue to ignore that the executive order provides work permits?
Haven't read it yet, but if they are allowed to stay here why would you deny them permission to work? What is your logic behind that objection?

You're kidding, right? Congress has not authorized it. Wipe the drool from your chin.

So only Congress has the right to authorize temporary work visas? Are you sure about that?

The president is not authorized by Congress to issue temporary work visas in this case, no.

There hasn't even been an authorization in writing yet, so I am not sure how you can say that.

Authorization is generally a term associated with the legislative branch.

Politic much?

Actually it is a term associated with all 3 branches of US government. Can you offer a reasonable reply or should I take your last post as submitting?

Look the undisputed fact is that there are millions of illegals in this country. Majority are hardworking Hispanic people looking for a better life. The Democrats are not going to kick them out and we all know that. And these damn Republicans of which I associate it with won't do a damn thing either.

Immigration is one thing they all talk tough on, but they let it slide for their buddies at the Chamber of Commerce and farmers and what not who hire these people. So I say make them pay taxes and make them submit to background checks without becoming US Citizens. That's fine with me. They can't vote legally, and if they do that's an individuals states responsibility to tighten up their voting laws. They don't have access to anything apart of Obamacare or subsidies. But they will probably have access to a lot of other things like some entitlement programs and schools.

Look my wife teaches in a rural school, 50% white, about 10% black and 40% Hispanic, and the Hispanic kids are some of the most engaged and quality students, and their families support them. There are a lot of bad people getting into our country, but the vast majority are good people. The Republicans will not deport them, and it pains me to say but Obama's presidency has seen more deportations than anyone else. The EO was reasonable, Repubs should challenge it where it makes sense to challenge but again, they won't do a damn thing.

I like it that people are getting much need relief, but it should've been done differently.
I like cake too though, and how it's made matters to us

1st Cake
* Shop and get everything you need
* Get dishes and tools needed out
* Mix, stir, etc.....
* Clean up kitchen along the way
* Oh yeah, most importantly. We've always made Yellow cake with my Wife, Mom, and myself. It's rule of law in our home to make cake together.

2nd Cake

* Shop and get everything you need
* Get dishes and tools needed out
* Mix, stir, etc.....
* Don't clean kitchen up and make mess
* Most importantly. I tell my Mom and Wife to sit this one out, and I got this. I'm making this cake the way I want too.

Same cake but two totally different processes when making it, the process matters. The messy kitchen and not including my Wife and Mom ruined it, and worst of all. The 2nd cake will expire to soon because I forgot to use the stuff needed to make a cake last. Some of that Law-cake-batter would've taken care of all that.....

The President is wrong here. Guess I can say I've seen a pouting-hissy-fit from a President now though. Prayers to those Families who are feeling this the most. Sorry our President and others are playing political football with you.
Hang in there....

I can agree with you but here's the thing, The Republicans haven't done a damn thing about immigration in what forever. Bush controlled The Legislative from what 2000-06 and didn't pass a thing. The Republicans to me, are not going to do a damn thing about it.

It is way too late for these really involved metaphors. Especially the ones involving recipes for cake at a time when people get the munchies.

Read through this, it cites actual information from ICE.

Here is where I think you are messing up, not distinguishing between removals vs returns.

Both parties are to blame, no doubt......

But.....Democrats and Obama had full control 4 years ago, but immigration wasn't to important when the Democrats were riding a huge wave in 2008. Suppose those possible legal votes weren't to important then but they are now after such a crushing election. Amazing how that works. Obama is President now so that's what matters most to me right now. Now all the sudden Obama wants to play the bleeding heart story after getting whipped in the elections? Come on, really? Obama says it's important now, but I don't belive him after all the lies this Man has told. Especially when Obama himself helped delay this many times in the past when it was to politically inconvenient for his party. Both parties are to blame overtime but that doesn't give one person the right to do this now.

Plus, Obama sees a Republican House and Senate that's about to put immigration on his desk in months. Obama gambled his party and lost the last 4 years. Now he tryign to do what he should've already had done, but now Obama is afraid(Well, ate up) to give Republicans that due. Obama has got to much hate in his heart for some Americans and it's sad to watch on such a high level. This is all about politics with Obama, and not that he thinks this is all the sudden a desperate situation. Obama can go sell that to someone who's a true believer or who's uninformed.

Does anyone know if it's true that Obama voted against immigration reform has a Senator?

Yeah but again, they are not legally allowed to vote and are not going to be on a path to citizenship. People keep missing that. And to those who say "well you don't think they will vote blah blah blah", no I don't. If your state lets illegal immigrants vote and other types of fraud, then conservatives would never lose. Because we are usually smarter and better funded Im sure we can come up with some voter fraud that blows anything they do out of the water.
