I'm guessing GR Day is going to be a goodbye party, of sorts

SBD is a Bottomland Cat Piss Saison. I need a new name, though. I added a bottle of sauvignon blanc to the keg, so it's now a cross between Belgian and New Zealand heritage. Shoutout to rds for the inspiration.

Best way to get Jester King beers is to just trade with the head brewer directly.

Dude loves him some old Fantome. If you can find those, you can probably get a personal tour of the place.

That sounds interesting as shite. In a good way.

Nursing this Meadowlark IPA. This is pretty solid even if it's mild. Awesome balance. And I've decide I like Pretty Things after I enjoyed their Gose so much.

FBD was an Abita Wrought Iron IPA. Definitely their best hoppy effort. Tropical with some earthy spicyness and maybe blueberry. Bitterness lingers a bit. I'm not mad at it.

Nice to hear. Wonder if it'll be mass distributed.

I think it's supposed to be year round. There was plenty at Calandro's today.

This is a 2013 that someone left behind at the FBD tailgate. Not sure how that happened. Pretty much no coffee left. Not bad, but fresh is much better as you might expect.

When I saw mass I mean in multiple states. Would be nice for Abita to actually put out something we can be proud of.

I've seen people line up outside of stores for an Abita beer. Just saying.

We unfortunately get Jockamo here in TN. Maybe Wrought Iron will replace it on the shelves, though not like Abita demands much shelf space here.

I've never seen people waiting in line to buy it. They make a ton of that crap.

They do now, but a few years ago that wasn't the case.
