Exactly what bama has done with Sims, built his confidence over the season and he can now throw down the field a little.

We don't run enough plays to set up anything. We don't block we'll enough to run the,. We can't sustain a negative yardage play. I bet we haven't gotten a first down on third and greater than 10 more than 3 times this whole fricking year.

Instead of progression at the position, the qb has actually become worse over the last 11 games.

It's truly amazing how bad this team is on offense now.

Jimbo's busy preparing for the playoffs right now. He can get back to you in January.

Bubble screens

Not a single team plays off our receivers. How, pray-tell, do you suggest getting one off?

can you imagine Jennings fluttering fricking pass out to a wide receiver? De would have enough time to tie his shoe and then get up and pick six that shite.

For the Jet Sweep, All you need is a couple of fast guys, a hard running TB, a QB who can read defenses and.....whoa, wait....

Did you watch the Wisconsin game, those were some scary plays when Jennings tried to throw screens and bubbles.

But at this point in his development he should be able to do it.

The playbook if anything has regressed.

Those seem like pretty easy to execute plays

For a QB with even an ounce of accuracy on intermediate range routes you would be right....for us....

jet sweeps

For the jet sweeps, I'm not sure if there is an ideal player on the roster to run it consistently right now. Maybe Trey Quinn, but we haven't seen him really break loose and show explosive playmaking ability yet. Maybe Travin Dural. He ran the reverse vs. Arkansas. But I think he is more of a straight-line speed guy. Not necessarily a lateral-movement/moves/make-you-miss guy. I haven't seen him run those types of plays enough to be certain, but that's my feeling from seeing him at receiver. He could still be effective at it, though, especially if he's got room to run.

But even with guys like Trindon Holliday, or Russell Shepard, or Odell Beckham Jr. (or James Wright - he has run it a couple of times for the Bengals this year), who were ideal-type players for the jet sweep, it wasn't run that often. Wisconsin uses a lot of jet sweeps and fake jet sweeps in their running game. They've established it so well that they can run a number of different plays off of it as misdirection. The KC Chiefs have been using it a lot with De'Anthony Thomas since he came back from injury, and it's been very effective for them and opened up other plays on fakes. They are currently #4 in the NFL in Rushing Yards Per Game and #3 in Rushing Yards Per Attempt. They ran it and faked it a number of times in their win vs. Seattle, rushing for 190 Yards (6.8 YPC). Thomas averaged 7.3 Yards on his 3 carries. They'll probably run it a good bit vs. Oakland tonight.

I think it could be a great complement to LSU's power-running game, which so often looks bland and predictable by design.
