As if The Dear Leader should be constrained by something as malleable as the US Constitution, lol.
*How can The Dear Leader "break the law" when the law is unjust?
*How can "The Rule Of Law" apply when the "law" is unjust?
*How can the "Separation of Powers" apply when one branch is obviously illegitimate?
*How can we solve problems that our important to The People if the Executive branch can't invalidate unfair "legislation"?
*How can we continue to "evolve" if redneck Congressmen from places like Texas are considered equal to the First Historic Black President?
*How can the Progressive preferences of The Dear Leader be ignored while racist losers get an "equal" policy voice?
How can we move FORWARD for The People if you Reactionary right-wingers insist blindly on obeying all these antiquated traditions, principles and ideals?
How can we move FORWARD if you continue to protect Institutions like Congress that have clearly outlived their usefulness to The People?
History will move on without you. Our Long March FORWARD through history will continue and you will be relegated to the dustbin of history.

Downvote me all you want like true kneejerk Reactionaries. A true Revolutionary who fights the good fight for Societal Transformation remains undeterred in the face of criticism. You can have your restrictive little Constitution thingamajig. We are governed by something FAR more powerful; Our Passions.
FORWARD !!!
BITCHES !!!
FORWARD !!!
BITCHES !!!

When the President does it, it's not illegal.

By definition. He's the Historic First Black President, yo.

Can't wait until the next GOP POTUS, and it will happen-decides to quit enforcing those pesky Abortion Clinic laws on protesting. Lots of EPA things he/she can ignore.

Is this a brief article for The Onion? It is pretty funny.

yeah in theory, but they don't know how to take an opportunity by the horns. Just heard lindsey gramnesty arguing with Hugh Hewitt a couple nights ago about returning the senate rules to requiring the 60 vote majority where Reid dismissed it. In other words, this bunch doesn't yet know how to man up.

"This country is going to hell."

Guess what..hasn't happened

Any regressive person who values that discredited Constitution thingamajig over the current societal Transformational Project as championed by Our Historic First Black President.
You guys get all caught up in this whole silly Rule Of Law Thing like it's the only option. Our more "situational" way of approaching ethics mocks your approach. You clowns have handcuffed yourselves in a way we will never do. Idiots. Sit back and watch us gleefully pee on your silly Constitution thingamajig.

This is an assault on the Constitution and the separation of powers.
This isn't Elvis Presley wiggling his hips.

TURLEY: Well, it's a very sad moment. But it's becoming a particularly dangerous moment if the president is going to go forward particularly after this election to defy the will of Congress yet again. I can understand the frustration. These are obviously two parties that are not getting along. But as you said we do have a Democratic process. We have a Congress that is coming in with the full voice of the American people behind them. That's what an election is. Now, you may disagree with the outcome, but you have to respect the outcome.
What the president's suggesting is tearing at the very fabric of the Constitution. We have a separation of powers that gives us balance. And that doesn't protect the branches. It's not there to protect the executive branch or legislative branch. It's to protect liberty. It's to keep any branch from assuming so much control that they become a threat to liberty.

"Liberty"....
What does that even mean ?
And why would we want to preserve something the average person can't even define?
Let's get shite done ! Let's move FORWARD !
Let's remove the shackles of all these dead-white-guy Constructs!
Let's transform ourselves, our Nation and the World !
"Separation of Powers" !
It's like you people don't realize that Herstory has already left you in the dust !

If you like your separation of powers, you can keep your separation of powers. Obama has increased liberty in this great land by over 3000%.

You tell me a single Constitutionalist wackjob who would have the balls to make a statement with this much Revolutionary zeal:
Like a BOSS. I don't care about your Constitution thingamajig. I'm the BOSS here. Separation of Powers? Not today. There's a new Sheriff in town and he's historically black and don't take shite from anybody waving some freaking paper around written by a bunch of dead white guys.
PARDON ME FOR GUSHING, but this is a BADASS leap FORWARD !
quote:.
And to those Members of Congress who question my authority to make our immigration system work better, or question the wisdom of me acting where Congress has failed, I have one answer: Pass a bill
