What a great memory. I was 8 and we were so excited to see LSU play in a bowl. Good times.

If LSU loses to Texas A.M. next week the Indy Bowl will make a big push for them. An LSU team with a 7-5 record would sell out the Indy Bowl because there is so much hunger here for LSU sports.

I'm sorry. I don't speak emoticon. Can you type in English? Or is Obama granting you citizenship tonight and you're feeling frisky?

was there...cold...wet ....happy day....much beer

Vs Mich St was a beautiful day and night just cold as fuk and windy! Was fun!
97 was very miserable but kicking Irish a&* made it worth, although realize they could give not 2 shits about the bowl but still.

check how many winning seasons or bowl games OSU had before Miles got there while you're at it.

Why do fans have such a hard time admitting that CLM was an average coach before he came to LSU. He never had a top recruiting class nor was he ever in the running for his conference championship

Saban was an average coach before coming to LSU too. And Dinardo began the building of facilities at LSU not Saban.

I remember playing TAMU atthe beginning of the year in the early 90s when they were loaded on D and had McElroy and Hill at the RB. In those days we had no chance at all against Top 10 teams. It was only a matter of how ugly it would be.

Not sure what this is referring to? Age?

You don't think dinardo began the facility improvements. I can school you just like I did earlier with the Indy bowl rosters.

He does have a point. Saban wasn't the ESPN demi-god when LSU hired him from MSU. So he isn't completely off base to say "Saban was an average coach".

Come at me bro

Bring back the magic. Troy Twille.

Ahhh. Troy Twillie. 95 was my second senior year, so I had been without a winning season my entire college career. I still remember where I sat for the Bring Back the Magic game and can vividly remember Troy Twillie's INT to win the game. Back in those days, the stadium was accessible from at least one gate. I remember the week after this game me and a buddy walked out on the field and went to the spot that Twillie fell on the ground after making the pick. We both picked up some grass, and brought it home. Still had the yellow and purple paint on it.

Believe it or not, I still have my "Twillie Grass" and bring it out every now and then. I've even brought a few blades to some important games to sprinkle on the field it I could do so. Some made it to the 2001 SECCG, and to the 2004 Sugar Bowl.

The Bring Back the Magic game started a streak for me as I have not missed an LSU/auburn game since then. Thats right, 20 straight games, home and away. A few weeks ago, we were tailgating in auburn and it dawned on me that it was the 9th time I had been to auburn. Not sure if or when my streak will end, but auburn is definitely my "rival" team to say the least.

For the record we are 12-8 overall, 8-2 at home, and 4-6 on the road in this period.

Yea I remember that game I had great seats at 50 yd line LSU got down early in game by I believe 14 and some MS fans were sitting behind me and said man this is gonna be a blowout and then the crown started chanting EDDIE EDDIE and they were right just not quite the way they meant it. That was a fun game from the tailgating to the game even the players commented on it afterwards how it he crowd was electric after game was over.

Miles can stay here as long as he wants as long as he makes us an elite program again. He cannot hang around with 3 or 4 losses every year.
