For anyone who didn't know Eddie Van Halen did the guitar solo for Beat It.

I was reading about VH and their discography late last night. What a crazy arse band.... EVH was pissed that the Diver Down album was ever made... pissed at Dave and Warner for encouraging it; pissed that Dave didn't want keyboards on 1984 and didn't really wanna record at 5150.
I enjoy a lot of their music but hate the way EVH started treating Michael Anthony. If I read right, got him kicked off songwriting royalties for the 1984 album while Michael McDonald (yes that McDonald) got credit for 'I'll Wait'. Anthony's backing vocals make the VH vocal sound. And that HOF ceremony..... pure BS. If you can't for ONE f'n night get up there and be gracious, you might be an a-hole. If you can't get along with Sammy Hagar, you are a jerk. You only get one induction ceremony - make the only chance you have a good one.
