got it when I was 15. 30 years and a whole lot of skinning. I have used a Cutco some, and occasionally had other knives on hand. If this one is sharp, it's as good as any.

I didn't know about the 2 lower knives in this picture

The middle one is good for extracting the back strap and breasting ducks.

Yep. They hold an edge very well.

My dad got these at work when i was a kid. He gave my brother and I one. About 1/4" of the tip broke off about 10 years ago and it has been in my night stand since.

Sharpfingers are badass. Too bad they quit making the real ones. I would buy 10 right now if I could find the USA stamped ones.

Razor knife. One blade / deer. Never have to sharpen knife. Just throw blade away after done. Can't beat it.

Does the straight edge work okay? Seems like it would cut into the hide?

Works great. Just always have to be aware of your fingers. I will never go back to traditional knife for deer again. No cleaning knife, no resharpening. Give it a shot.

Cabela's Alaskan Guide® Series Alpha Fixed Knife by Buck Knives®

Have had this one for years. Great knife. Holds edge well and great balance.

Ive got more knives than i know what to do with, tons of Bucks, one hand made from Roys in downtown Cov, Pumas and a couple others.

With that being said my go to always seems to be this cheap one I got as a gift when I was like 8.

Got it about 3 years ago and haven't had to sharpen it. It won't split frog hair but it holds an edge better than any other knife I own.

Havalon Piranha. It is a scalpel though so u r not cutting through any bone and u may have to change a blade while skinning. But I suck at sharpening knives so it is number 1 in my pack. U cannot muscle it too much or u will break the blades. I lost mine once and found it the next day on the trail since it is hunter orange in color.
