LINK

He faces a fine of up to $260 and was given a Lane County Circuit Court date of Dec. 11, which is the same day as the Home Depot College Football Awards in Orlando

Often 55 is reduced speed for construction, and 80 is far too damned fast if this is the case. Still has to go to court which is more than the punishment for stealing crabs apparently.

ducks = waterfowl - a common noun
Ducks = Oregon football team - a proper noun

Nouns name people, places, and things. Every noun can further be classified as common or proper. A proper noun has two distinctive features: 1) it will name a specific [usually a one-of-a-kind] item, and 2) it will begin with a capital letter no matter where it occurs in a sentence.

Note, it was Ducks in the OP so it was less retarded than your comment.

He doesn't have to go to court if he pays the fine

And 80 in a 55 is part of a normal commute

Back when I was charmed I set my cruise at 115 on I5, from Salem to Eugene. Eat my dust Cliff Harris!

Still my favorite because it is not a photoshopped pic and was taken in Louisville this fall the day of or day before the FSU vs UL game.
