please take that down. the last picture shows too much of my face.

OP: I don't care where or how people kill deer. I do it because I think it is fun and I like the meat. If somebody wants to brag about the pet deer they shot let them. They aren't stopping you from having fun, and everybody knows whats up anyway.

nut up

my buck weighed 230 on the hoof. I haven't scored him, but I have been told high 130s to high 140s off random friends.

I had to drag him 500 yards through open marsh tied to my harness. I threw up twice on the way to the boat.

I'd relive that haul everyday for the rest of my life if I could experience that hunt again.

I'm in it for the thrill of the hunt. A trophy is only worth the story behind it anyway. I enjoy exchanging hunting tales, but how my kills stack up against anyone else's doesn't really concern me. All that matters is what it means to you.

Thrill of the hunt brah. It's why we keep going after these deer/ducks/whatever when you can get meat easier at the store, why we keep chasing those bigger fish, spend a cool hundred on fuel just to go out into the middle of gulf and jump in and try to spear something, why we chase them women, etc.

Chasing all the other shite makes fine sense to me.

That one...I'm still trying to figure out.

You spend all this money on shite, go get out there in the woods early as shite in the freeing cold, watch these small deer for a while, hold off hoping a real nice one presents itself. Maybe it will. Sometimes, if not, you get antsy and end up just shooting a doe cause it's been too long, freezer needs filling, or whatever.

Same shite, just slumpbusters and OT 9.5s instead of does and bucks.

Is this blowing your mind or what?

ETA also, I want to clarify, in the case of women, we're talking banging them here. Not shooting. I'm not a serial killer.

Does not bother me at all. To each his own and if it is legal, I don't mind.

Do both at once.

Go kill ducks. Post-hunt, send potential mates photos of you with dead ducks. Undergarments moisten.

Win-win

It's a good analogy. The bigger the rack the more excited you get. Both just kind of lay there after its all said and done.
