But you frequent Gambling establishments and that stuff they pump into the AC system to make you take a hit on 17 when you should hold also helps prevent the flu. By doing that, if you survive your gambling, you live to come back and gamble again.

I know this because I developed the drug they use and the delivery system, which includes bot the HVAC application and the stuff we put in your free drinks.

Yeah, I never get one and don't get the flu, so that makes me a moron.

Or someone with a halfway decent immune system.

I've only gotten one once in the past 7 or so years. The one year I did I got sick and stayed sick all winter. Other wise i normally get sick once a year. Either going into winter or coming out of it but it's never too bad. But I won't get another flu shot. That year was miserable

Said like a true moron. Congratulations! The idiot brigade must be so proud of this bright, shining totally stupid and ignorant post.

The idiot brigade is so proud of this because they don't realize how totally stupid this really is.

So, here is a hint. If you think this is at all a good idea, read some real science about the flu vaccine. If you still think this is a good idea, you haven't learned enough.

If you think this actually is a good idea after learning the truth about the flu vaccine, then you are in fact not just ignorant but stupid and no one can help you.

Flu shots are for babies and old people. I've had the flu 2-3 times in my life (23 years old) and it rarely lasted for more than 48 hours. I got the flu shot 1 time in college and that's the year I got the flu. I'll take my chances.

Spoken like someone who really has no idea what the flu is. It is likely that you just got a bad cold.

The simple fact is a bad cold is not the same thing as the flu. People all the time say they have the flu when in fact they have a bad cold. There is a difference.

And why would you take your chances? Let's say you get the flu. Do you know any old people or very young people? They don't tolerate the flu as well as younger people. Do you hate everyone else? You are not only taking your chances but you are making everyone else around you take those chances as well.

Not a smart decision any way you look at it.

Facts:

I Knew a guy who didn't get a vaccination for the flu last year. He got attacked by a pittbull and terribly mutilated. Cops came and refused to shoot the dog because they were afraid of catching the flu from the guy, who obviously was unprotected.

Can't say I blame them.

Another guy refused to get the shot and got shot a few days later. Bled to death.

A few years back, a guy pointed a gun at me and I didn't get shot. I had already had my flu shot that year.

Another guy refused the shot and found his wife in bed with the pool boy the next day. She sued him for failure to get a flue shot and got all his money. She and the pool boy (Who always gets his shot) now are spending the guy's money in the Bahamas.

Bill Gates gets his flu shot every year as does Warren Buffett. Neither have lost a wife to the pool boy.

I got a plague vaccination while in the army and have never got the plague. Also got rich afterwards, married a beautiful woman and my kids, grandkids and dog all love me. The wife hates our pool boy.

I have had a flue shot every year for over 40 years. I must say that there is a possibility they have contributed to my getting old.

I will say that I have little sympathy for sick people, so don't come bitching at me.

I can share more if needed.

This is filled with just so much greatness. Yes, it is sarcasm and it is delivered with many similar arguments that those who don't get the vaccine use.

Correlation does not imply causation. This points out why this is true.

Come to think of it, I live in a great house, have a great life and I have been getting the flu vaccine. Must be because of the flu vaccine. Heck, I was poor before I started getting the flu vaccine, so that must mean that not getting the flu vaccine made me poor.

Temple owl....

You work for a vaccine company or something? Sure seem to be taking this personally.

The worst part about the flu vaccine debate is the peer pressure from both sides

I'm sure you are joking. Obviously not. However, I freaking hate stupidity and willful ignorance.

There are so many totally stupid people about their health that it boggles the mind sometimes. From those idiots out there who don't get screened because they "know" they could sense when there was something wrong with their bodies to idiots who believe that nuts and cheese can cure cancer, there are tons of misconceptions that get perpetrated by the internet.

The antivacciners are at the top of that pyramid of stupidity.

But there is not shortage of stupid out there.
