2. I like Memphis

Memphis is a shite-hole town with high crime especially in the Liberty bowl aera. I lived there for 5 years.

Have expectations sunk so low that we are excited about the Music City Bowl?

Didn't we go through this with DiNardo when we were like "Holy shite Indy Bowl against Notre Dame "

It's hard to get excited with Jennings averaging less than 10 points a game running the offense.

Isn't Jennings averaging around 27 points per game as LSU's QB?

I sure wish the deadline was extended until midnight Thursday so we could see if Miles turns the offense in the right direction.

The deadline is kinda irrelevant this year. Anyone will be able to buy bowl tickets directly through LSU once the bowl game is announced. Requests from season ticket holders will not exceed LSU's bowl ticket supply for any of the possible bowl games.

In other words, LSU will get 10-15k tickets depending upon the bowl game. There will be far less than 10-15k requests from season ticket holders for our possible bowl games. Once those requests are filled, the rest of LSU's allotment will be available for sale to the general public. So whether one got their postseason request in or not, they will be able to buy tickets directly from LSU if they decide they want to go to the game. The only two bowls that LSU will sell out of its allotment pretty quickly once they come available to the general public are the Texas Bowl and the Independence Bowl.

I saw a projection today where we play in the Birmingham Bowl against Memphis. It had us as the last SEC team. Really sad

We'd have to lose to A&M for that to happen. If it does, there is one bright spot....very few LSU fans will buy tickets to that bowl. Perhaps poor fan attendance for the 3rd year in a row will send a message to Alleva and TAF. If you want them to take notice, you have to hit them where it hurts.

Honestly if we lost to aTm, I would not blame bowl committees for completely passing on LSU. No one outside of BR wants to watch that shite show on offense.

He barely had 27 (31) points against ULM. Maybe the 56 against Sam Houston has his numbers up a bit.

He definitely should not get credit for the 63 against New Mexico State because he was flaming sewage in that game.

For those like myself hoping for a Texas-LSU Texas Bowl (8pm, Dec29th), the Texas bowl staff has Texas-LSU in their current projection:

LINK

Out of all of our possible bowl possibilities, I think that game has the most "pop" and national appeal with two huge brands facing off in primetime in a Dome. It would obviously draw the biggest crowd of any of our potential bowls.

I agree, so I hope that Alleva has the Texas Bowl folks on speed dial and is talking up the fact that we have a huge alumni base in H-town. This is the only bowl that I can see LSU fans traveling to in any significant numbers. Let's hope that Miles can find a way to motivate the team one last time before the end of the regular season.

My #2 choice is LSU-NotreDame Gator Bowl, but Texas-LSU in Houston is far and away my #1 hope

I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT want to see LSU vs Minnesota/Iowa/Rutgers/Maryland in Gator.
