There is so much quivering vaginitis in these threads. U doomsday pussies are annoying as frick

Exactly! The only things these morons have to hang their hat on is Lee not beating out JJ. Talent wise, they weren't that much different so it doesn't even compare. Harris with a year in the system + his talent will make Jennings look like a baby born (sorry about that Jennings, but it's true).

What is that Saban said about LSU fans, catastrophe syndrome? This thread oozes with it lol. "Harris will never start again. Jennings will start til he graduates, we're going to lose a bunch of games, nothing will ever get better". Whine, whine, whine.

he didn't step up vs georgia, the game before the BCSNCG

which is why we lost that game

oh wait frick you we won 42-10

Another myth busted, Les Miles has never made half time adjustments.

We outscored UGA 35-0 int he second half.

People harping on that game are the reason i hate half out fan base. They don't need a win, they need to win in a way appealing to them.

Think he's commenting on JJ/QB play....not Les Miles...

LSU didn't have a single first down against georgia in the entire first half.

Jefferson's stats: 5/13 30 yards 1 TD
REALLY?!!

The entire offense had 237 yards! TOTAL!

this was the start of the game for LSU:

quote:

15:00 1 01:07 LSU 15 3 plays -3 Punt
07:34 1 01:32 LSU 27 3 plays 8 Punt
04:30 1 01:18 LSU 8 3 plays -2 Punt
00:42 1 02:13 LSU 8 3 plays 9 Punt
09:40 2 01:25 LSU 20 3 plays 0 Fumble
08:15 2 02:27 UGA 13 3 plays -10 Punt
03:46 2 02:04 LSU 11 3 plays 9 Punt
00:47 2 00:28 LSU 30 3 plays -13 Punt

EIGHT three and outs in a row

and what if jennings continues to start and struggle while harris is on the sidelines? Because that seems like a very likely situation.

We have to accept probably 4 to 5 losses as norm then.

Miles will start Jennings
This is not a forgone conclusion. It's on Harris to outwork and outperform Jennings. If anything is holding Miles back from playing Harris, it's probably work effort, as has been discussed and alluded to by Harris himself.

No, I thought we were talking about Les Miles. JJ sucked, but the rest of the team kicked arse that game.

That word should have tipped you off.

AJ will be the man for the next 2 years unless injured, BH will transfer and LSU will finish 7-5 and 7-5! The defense can't be expected to bail the O out every game! The decline is real!

I don't miss games but really can't see myself sitting through another year or two with Jennings running the offense.

Call me a fair weather fan if you must but I just can't watch another debacle like we saw with Jefferson.

It's sad when you have everything aligned for a championship run but can't find a QB who has a clue. I wish the kid well but have no confidence he'll improve to the minimal level needed to compete for a title.

Jefferson did not lead us to wins over 7 ranked teams during the 2011 season. Great QB play by Lee was largely responsible for our 8-0 start. Once JJ was reinserted into the lineup, the offense began to sputter.

Also we stepped up and beat Ohio St in 2007.

I'm pretty sure that Matt Flynn was the QB in that game.

just caught that he attempted to sneak that little lie into his defense of jefferson/miles... pretty pathetic that lee doesn't get any credit from him

Obviously we have Jennings and Harris but are there any recruits coming that could take their spots?
Justin McMillan will be a TF; he's not starting. There's no killer JUCO QB on the horizon, and Mett, as promising as he was, sat the majority of his first year at LSU. Therefore, it's going to be either Jennings or Harris.

I don't know if Jennings will be the QB next year. Like I have always said, Harris has a lot of talent. I like his arm, and I like his feet. Although there is a HUGE learning curve from HS to TF year, the learning curve is tremendously reduced from TF to TS year.

Miles always starts the QB who gives LSU the best chance to win. That might be Jennings next year. It might be Harris.

Also what should we expect with the o-line next year?
The good news is that the o-line will have the same coach next year. The better news is that the coach is teaching great technique. I don't know who we will lose besides Collins and Porter. Alexander, Hawkins? Regardless, LSU will return some starters and will have some studs waiting in the wings: Boutte, Brumfield, Dodd. The recruiting trail also looks very bright. Oh for frick's sake.

SammyTiger started talking about Les Miles in reply to a post by Icansee4miles. Then Nuts4LSU started talking about JJ in a reply to SammyTiger's post. Everyone was using pronouns so confusion ensued. SammyTiger was talking about Miles, and Nuts4LSU and you were talking about Jefferson.

There's no reason to start accusing SammyTiger of lying.
