Pro Sports has lost its shine and is becoming mediocre

We've seen the decline in MLB and NBA over the past 20 years but now it's looking like NFL is on the same path. It's still good but with the horrible recent Super Bowls and the latest news, it's turning into unwatchable. What's the cause? Players not trying? Drugs? Rule changing? Corrupt ownership? No super stars like Michael Jordan and Bo Jackson to really spice things up? I'm at a loss but I'm also finding less reasons to keep up with Pro sports any longer.

College sports are infinitely more entertaining than professional sports imo.

I'm more interested in the NFL than ever before. I'm the opposite. I've lost almost all interest in amateur football.

The NBA is the only league I've gained interest in. Outside of saints games I don't even watch much NFL football anymore. I'm just sick of spending 4 hours of my day to watch games be changed by officials and commercials everywhere. I'd rather spend my sundays being productive.

Sunday night football is getting beat by a cable show
While not really shameful, that doesn't happen to an invincible brand.
NFL is beginning to go downward, it will gain more and more momentum
As another poster said...people get sick of officials taking over games and consciously and subconsciously are turned off by the shitty defensive rules

What does that have to do with anything? In general, I believe college sports are more fun to watch, even if there are some shitty games. There are shitty games in pro sports too.

The NBA regular season isn't great.
The season really starts in the playoffs, and only a handful of teams can actually win the title.

Agree. I really enjoy watching 19 year old kids crap the bed on the regular.
