Roger Goodell's self-righteous bullshite lecture to Adrian Peterson

The collectively bargained for this. If they don't like it, retire and get a regular job. You can beat your kids all you want then.

AP is just unlucky that he did this the same season that Rice knocked his wife out.
He is being made an an example of....like the Saints....except AP's punishment is probably much more warranted.

It's not self righteous. It's calculated. It's setting the foundation for additional punishment.
