Laid the smackdown on a 3 pernt. About 100-120 lbs I figure. Got first blood out my system. By the way, I hunt for meat, not antlers.

And that tree point why not kill a doe? Is that deer even legal where you hunt?

Yes it's legal and doe weekend isn't until the 28th-30th. Due to work I haven't killed a deer since 2011. My freezer is empty baw!!

At least I tagged the fricker. I could be like 90% of the jackrabbits that hunt on our land and sneak them out.

if this is the case then no problem, i was just wondering. Plenty of deer out there.. everyone hunts for different reasons. As long as its all legal, carry on.. and congrats. It will be good eating

Afterwards you'll be feeling like a 20 year old and then BLs will be waiting on you. My great aunt does blood transfusions often, she says its for the birds though.
Git-r-dun buddy.

Hell yeah man. I'm not much on shooting deer I can throw on the bike with ease but he walked out on the wrong blood thirsty fricker. And DSS, I think the Mrs and I are going out to eat tonight. Maybe tomorrow

I don't think that 3rd point will score

Congrats

Didn't see shite this morning. I tried a spot I hadn't hunted all year waiting on a southerly wind, got the wind, and nothing.

Winds should stay consistent till tomorrow evening so I'll give it another shot then.

Thats why I hate the doe day rules in Louisiana. I have no problem with you taking that spike but doe should be open every day after 10/15
