We had doe day everyday as long as I could remember, since the early 90's at least. We were area 6 now we're area 9. Fricked everything up.
I say fricked everything up, I know it's for a reason but it ticks everyone off.

I agree with you 'hat. People trying to put meat in the fridge are going to shoot lesser bucks since the window to shoot does in a lot narrower.

~ETA: I have no problem with the kill. I shot a spike last year after christmas because it was litteraly the first deer I saw all year.

same situation, was area 6 now area 9

But from what I can remember, we had doe days throughout the 90s. The doe everyday started some time in the 00's I believe

Yeah I could be wrong. Didn't really start hunting by myself until I was 11 (2001)and I would bum a doe tag off my pawpaw and uncle and I shot whenever. Everyone in the club had 3. Either way, I could've had my 3 already.

Pulled out of Marion, KY at 3:42am this morning and was back in the Mecca by 1pm. I'm now in a box stand in Union Parish with killing on my mind.

I've seen over 200 deer since Saturday evening in Kentucky and didn't kill a damn thing. My wife told me not to come home without a refund from the outfitter and meat. I'm hoping an abundant amount of meat will make up for the refund portion.
