To win. that saidthere's absolutely no excuse not to get Harris ready for this weekend. I don't mean ready for our offense but simply put him in with a few plays he can run. Hell, let him draw them up himself if he needs to. Drill him all week on five plays and just let him run them. It seems like everyone knows what we're doing with our complicated offense anyway. Make sure he doesn't have to think too much and cut them loose. What say you rant?

If they really think Harris would do worse than Jenning's awful performance against Arky, they should cut Harris right now. I don't think that is the case. Miles is just stubborn and doesn't like fans calling for the guy he didn't choose as the starter.

I believe they are starting the QB that is less likely to get rattled by the environment. If Harris would have played better against AU, he would be getting more looks. He is a true freshman, and it showed. The talent is there, but he just needs to settle down.

Harris is better, but Miles doesn't want to admit he is wrong.

With the way the O line played, Harris would have snapped in half.

You could be right but why would they just coach speak their way out of it and play the lesser of the two quarterbacks? I'm always saying dumb it down for Harris and get him on the field. So you can't lose either he doesn't know the playbook and they simplify it or they say they simplified it and turn him loose.

At some point during that game Harris should have come in to see if he could ignite a spark. There were plenty of "meaningful snaps" that he could have had in the second half. I think that is what has most up in arms about the whole QB situation.

I thought it was supposed to be Chavis and Cameron's job to make sure Miles doesn't have to think too much.

i really think the reason harris isnt playing is that les thinks jennings will take less chances therefore he is the "safer" bet.

You're probably right. Based on absolutely nothing, we know that Miles would rather lose than play the better player. Got it

Yeah I really can't believe we wouldn't put Harris in. It's maddening. I guess if there something else wrong I'd have to give Les credit for not throwing someone under the bus but I'm not sure I believe that. If Miles came out and said something bad about Harris would be bit be pissed off about that? I guess we'll never know

I believe that a supposed-elite program should NEVER have an outing like what we just witnessed.

Like many, I turned it off in the 3rd qtr in disgust.

I think the staff is just making excuses to cover up their poor coaching and roster management.

There is no excuse to not have him in the game last weekend. Anybody with eyes could see that our offense was poor already. The only thing saving the season was the defense. The thought, "What if someone shuts down the running game?" never seemed to cross this coaching staff's mind.

All of the smart people were pleading with this coaching staff to "please, develop the passing game" because it's impossible to win more than half of your SEC games with a passing game that can't reach triple digit yards in a game.
