If the US media stops promoting these iSIS videos I wonder if they start losing their effect.

I just have a hard time feeling sorry these people. What were they thinking going into that region? Did they really think they'd go over there and become their friends? This is like a guy jumping in a cage full of lions and getting mad at the lions for eating him.

Appropriate. See, some people actually want to be a productive member of society and help those that are less fortunate. Which is apparently what Peter Kassig felt he was doing.

Isis is reported to have a military of about 200,000 per Kurdish leaders and not the 30k our administration would like you to believe. They control an area the size of Britain. The CIA is confirming these numbers yet Obama does nothing.

He did aid work in Syria, where he was captured. He was held hostage for over a year.

The article says that he even converted to Islam in capture, which is what these animals want.

Yep and got his head cut off for it, the only reason anyone should ever go there for is to exterminate these animals

Again what did he think would happen? They hate us and don't care that he was helping people. They are animals that hate anything from the western world.

People are murdered in this country everyday. Why publicize one person's killing a continent away?

They would and I also have a hard time feeling bad for these guys.

Also between this beheading and the last, 1,000s of Americans died at the hands of other Americans. We have our own issues here.

We need to just let the mid east fall apart.

I have a hard time feeling sorry for anyone over there anymore. At this point in the game, we all know what will happen if you're caught.

Do you say the same about military personnel, government officials (e.g., Benghazi workers), or any other group of individuals that works in those areas? People are trying to help innocent civilians attacked by ISIS, not ISIS themselves. So your lion metaphor doesn't work that well.
